Rounding off the weekend’s entertainment, there are a quartet of teams battling for supremacy at opposite ends of the country. Liverpool search for their first in win three outings when they host Stoke City, while Tottenham Hotspur duel with Manchester United at White Hart Lane.

Liverpool’s attack is in fine fettle ahead of their double next Gameweek, given that they managed the joint-third-most goals (eight) and second-most shots on target (27) over their last four matches. However, prospective investors will be concerned that the Reds possess the joint-third-worst shot-conversion rate (8%) in home matches. As for the Potters, they’ve recorded one clean sheet in 10 matches yet conceded the joint-second-fewest big chances (two) across their previous four fixtures.

Spurs maintained their attacking dominance during the last four Gameweeks, registering the joint-third-most goals (eight), most attempts (80), joint-most big chances (10) and most shots on target (31). As for the Red Devils, they ranked joint-third-bottom for goals (three), third-bottom for attempts (36), second-bottom for shots inside the box (18) and joint-third-bottom for shots on target (10), augmenting the Lilywhites’ clean-sheet prospects.

Think he will get one of the two dgw games. There is an increasingly likely chance he'll get neither though and that would be a disaster.

I wonder if we'll go in for a CB this summer. All depends on the manager I suppose but Blind has been excellent. Having someone with a passing range like that at the back is fairly unique.

Yeah, Blind gets a lot of stick but I feel he is one of Utds better buys for quite a while.
Not excellent at anything but good att everything.

Probably. If Mou is the manager then a bid for Stones might make sense given he has that passing ability and Mou was interested in him before. Just ignore how bad he has been this season...

Exaclty my thoughts! Every game I'm more and more convinced that him and Smalling understand each other very well.

The likes of Mascherano and Blind only prove that a CB doesn't have to be the tallest.

I like Blind a lot, but my concern is still his strength. At CB you might need a bit more power than what he has.

I really enjoyed watching him mark Lukaku out of the game last week. It was a lesson.

In a different era of football he would have made a great libero/sweeper in Italy

I dumped Kane, Alli and Toby on the WC.

Fully expecting a Kane masterclass, goal and an assist from Alli and a CS plus goal from Toby judging by how this GW has gone.

Just broke the top 1k as well. Dunno whether to laugh or cry.

With frailties becoming obvious, if they weren't already, around picks like Sahko, Mitrovic, Gabriel, Darmien etc is a strategy without Aguero becoming an idea people who haven't wildcarded yet are willing to entertain. I looks a lot like many who did this week could end of with a bit of a car crash of a team in the DGW

I'm currently on 45 with no Aguero, and Sturridge and Firmino still on the field, but have the likes of Cech, Smalling, Bellerin, and Dann at the rearguard for next weeks DGW, along with the usual suspects up front
