Dugout Discussion

The Dugout Discussion – Liverpool vs Man United

Gameweek 8 comes to its conclusion this evening as Liverpool welcome Man United to Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s in-form outfit seek a fifth successive win in the top-flight and could even climb to the summit if they register a victory by a margin of four or more goals.

That’s perhaps unlikely yet, having netted nine times in two matches in front of their own supporters, the Reds will be in buoyant mood tonight.

The likes of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane will be keenly monitored by Fantasy managers as the Merseysiders prepare for a superb upcoming run of fixtures.

For United, the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the main point of concern around these parts.

The big Swede has a single goal in five appearances and has already earned more transfers out than any other forward in the Gameweek.

Another blank and the exodus will surely pick up pace, given that Jose Mourinho then takes his side to former club Chelsea next Sunday – the Blues have chalked up back-to-back shut-outs since the switch to 3-4-3.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

      Dont think you should WC. Apart from Zlatan, who do you want/"need" to get rid of?

      Maybe Capoue as his form has gone - was always going to.

    Pretty sure I want to get rid on Antonio but not sure what moves to make
    Coleman/Valencia + Antonio to Pieters +Walcott/Arnautovic?

    Any other suggestions?

      If he plays at right wingback it doesn't matter, even if he would have played a league two side

    Antonio > Walcott
    Snoddgrass > Allen

    Both free transfers, opinions? Yes or No. Thanks

      I really don't see the Allen hype lasting, so I see two good players being subbed for 1 on form, 1 average.

    Think I've cracked it,

    Cazorla and Valencia > Walcott and Lovren

    It is for a -4 but need to get Wally in somehow

    1 FT

    A) Stones -> Holebas
    B) Capoue -> Allen, get 0.4 profit, play Allen next week and bench Redmond
    C) Mane -> Walcott
    D) A combination of two of the above for a hit
    E) Save

      City can't defend. I am not convinced by Bravo. He is on form. Then they have 1 more tough match and a lovely run after that. I have just brought him in for Ibra.

    Will Liverpool revert back to Firmino false 9 with Coutinho pushed further forward next week?

    If so, is it worth doing Sterling -> Coutinho, or just save FT transfer?

    Thanks

      This maybe the case but either could score well anyway. You might be forced into something after the midweek anyway

    All my league rivals own walcott. 26 ahead to the second, more than 50 to place 3,4,5.
    Would you recommend Antonio -> Wally for free then to save distance (owning Sanchez)..?

      I don't care too much on coverage more on points and I feel sanchez will score higher over next few weeks. Kdb is quite injury prone too it seems
