Gameweek 8 comes to its conclusion this evening as Liverpool welcome Man United to Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s in-form outfit seek a fifth successive win in the top-flight and could even climb to the summit if they register a victory by a margin of four or more goals.

That’s perhaps unlikely yet, having netted nine times in two matches in front of their own supporters, the Reds will be in buoyant mood tonight.

The likes of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane will be keenly monitored by Fantasy managers as the Merseysiders prepare for a superb upcoming run of fixtures.

For United, the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the main point of concern around these parts.

The big Swede has a single goal in five appearances and has already earned more transfers out than any other forward in the Gameweek.

Another blank and the exodus will surely pick up pace, given that Jose Mourinho then takes his side to former club Chelsea next Sunday – the Blues have chalked up back-to-back shut-outs since the switch to 3-4-3.

Dont think you should WC. Apart from Zlatan, who do you want/"need" to get rid of?

Maybe Capoue as his form has gone - was always going to.

    0.0 ITB 2FT

    Heaton Pickford
    Valencia Coleman Lovren Holebas Amat
    Sanchez Sterling Firmino Antonio Fletcher

Pretty sure I want to get rid on Antonio but not sure what moves to make
    Coleman/Valencia + Antonio to Pieters +Walcott/Arnautovic?

    Any other suggestions?

Are people seriously selling Antonio before SUN?! Has the world gone completely mad?

Only if you sell for Payet otherwise it's madness

If he plays at right wingback it doesn't matter, even if he would have played a league two side

    Antonio > Walcott
    Snoddgrass > Allen

Both free transfers, opinions? Yes or No. Thanks

    1. Differentiator
      10 years, 21 days ago

I really don't see the Allen hype lasting, so I see two good players being subbed for 1 on form, 1 average.

  8. PaoloRabbiiiii
    10 years, 21 days ago

    Think I've cracked it,

Cazorla and Valencia > Walcott and Lovren

It is for a -4 but need to get Wally in somehow

Val > Lov is poor. Liverpool can't defend, don't get fooled by United's poor attacking show

    Sigurdsson or chadli for Antonio?

    1. FPL Maldini

      Siggy.

Playing as false nine and better fixtures

False 9 doubt will last long. Arnautovic I reckon.

Did someone say that Mustafi is a bit of a BAP magnet?

    1. BIG TONES

He tends to get YC a lot in his career I thought, so no he wouldn't be. I could be wrong though

  11. Cok3y5murf

    1 FT

    A) Stones -> Holebas
    B) Capoue -> Allen, get 0.4 profit, play Allen next week and bench Redmond
    C) Mane -> Walcott
    D) A combination of two of the above for a hit
    E) Save

    1. Cok3y5murf
      10 years, 21 days ago

Regarding C, already have Sanchez and Lallana

    2. Pochecinno

What difference does it make, you will have same players for both leagues regardless

Go to soccer base search Austin 14/15 season and see he scores when he wants against who he wants

City can't defend. I am not convinced by Bravo. He is on form. Then they have 1 more tough match and a lovely run after that. I have just brought him in for Ibra.

Will Liverpool revert back to Firmino false 9 with Coutinho pushed further forward next week?

If so, is it worth doing Sterling -> Coutinho, or just save FT transfer?

    Thanks

    1. roganyosh
      10 years, 21 days ago

This maybe the case but either could score well anyway. You might be forced into something after the midweek anyway

  19. Yordan Letchkov
    10 years, 21 days ago

All my league rivals own walcott. 26 ahead to the second, more than 50 to place 3,4,5.
Would you recommend Antonio -> Wally for free then to save distance (owning Sanchez)..?

  20. ACCOUNTING ON CHRIS

Is Capoue to Allen a good move.... But only if you have a transfer to burn?

      Just like Capoue's run couldn't last, Allen's can't either

For a 5th non play mid ? If so surely that money could be used elsewhere

  21. THE Wild Rover

If you owned Wally and Silva would you rather double up with Sanchez or KDB?

    1. roganyosh
      10 years, 21 days ago

I don't care too much on coverage more on points and I feel sanchez will score higher over next few weeks. Kdb is quite injury prone too it seems

  22. FPL Maldini
    10 years, 21 days ago

Give Snodgrass one last chance or take him out for Siggy ?

    1. THE Wild Rover
      10 years, 21 days ago

As someone said yesterday he's too expensive for a 5th mid and not good enough for a 4th

  23. roganyosh

    Pickford jaku

    Lovren mustafi holebas amat Kingsley

    Walcott sanchez couts firm payet
