The FFS Cup – Sponsored by FanDuel – Second Round Draw

This evening we roll out the second round draw of the 13th instalment of our open to all Fantasy Premier League cup competition.

For this latest contest, there are more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants courtesy of our partner FanDuel, as well as £350 in Amazon vouchers to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

In addition, the top scoring manager for each round will receive £30 FanDuel credit, with £10 FanDuel credit for the next four best scores.

Among our former winners, last year’s victor I Casillas Winning overcame Sticky Toffee Pudding, 66 to 49. He takes on Tufs, who is ranked more than 600,000 places below him.

Meanwhile, moderator and contributor Stilicho knocked out another former champ Wild Rover and goes on to face Tinyswede in the next round.

Mark and I, also crashed out to end our dreams of a second title, to Buzzedagain and Bash Villa respectively.

Former champ Gribude faired better, overcoming Optimus Clyne, as did Ninja Fit Saints, who stays in the race to become the first to win twice by beating R32omon.

While Gribude’s next opponent Allgonepozzo is ranked just 8,721 places behind him, Ninja Fit Saints has a far tougher test, taking on Jurgen, who is ranked 486,634 places higher.

MCH is another winner to progress, after seeing off Sporting to set up a second round clash with Shem Bayley.

JazzyJ87’s score of 79 sees him win the £30 FanDuel voucher for the highest score of the round.

The four managers to win a £10 FanDuel voucher for having the next highest scores were Pipermaru, galactijoe, Schmeichel Sea and Jinkys Oars.

Another manager to look out for is Pink Unites, who beat 2012/13 FPL champion Tom Fenley 49 to 27. He faces Shanev13 in round two.

Elsewhere, the only Scoutcast regular to go through to round two, Andy85wsm, will be squaring up to Lardy, who is 600,000 places above him in the overall rankings.

Other notable second round match ups include applebonkers’ clash with Back to Back Ballacks and mikeharbrw’s encounter with The Normal One.

The highest ranked manager left in the competition is Simonsimondock, who is currently 211th in the world. Sigfried Sassoon, who is ranked just inside the top 500,000, has the dubious honour of facing him in round two.

Could Aguero miss out on the Burnley game, if so will affect KdB points?

Of course there is a risk with Pep in charge, but unlikely in my opinion. They need the win and no match during next week
