We delve into the Opta data now with our usual post-Gameweek members’ article, focusing on a case of standout performers across the previous round of fixtures.

Arsenal’s attack comes under scrutiny ahead of favourable festive fixtures, while Chelsea’s midfield man of the moment puts in another outstanding shift.

We also check out Man City’s super-sub, the Potters’ playmaker and the impact of Claude Puel on Jamie Vardy’s goal potential.

Any thoughts on this team in this front 7 or 8 for the next couple of gameweeks ending 2017?

    Sanchez, Hazard, Salah, Sterling, Ramsey

    Morata, Murray, Niasse/DCL

Essentially funding Sanchez's inclusion for Arsenal's great fixtures using Kane and going a mid-5 strong

Spending so much on Sanch just seems counter intuitive tbh. Ramsey is enough Arsenal attack

Agree with this although Sanchez arguably better form than Kane, Arsenal looking better than Spurs as well

Room for Hazard? 2 FT 0.2 ITB
    Courtois Elliot
    Otamendi Moreno Naughton Clark Mbemba
    Sanchez Salah Sane RLC Cork
    Kane Morata Calvert

    a) Kane + Cork out > Murray + Hazard in 0.9 ITB
    b) Kane + Sane out > Lacazette + Hazard in 0.7 ITB
    c) Morata + Sane out > Vardy + Hazard in 0.1 ITB
    d) Morata + Sane out > Firmino + Hazard in 0.2 ITB
    e) Kane + Sane + Clark out > Vardy + Hazard + Kolasinac 0.7 ITB (-4 hit)
    f) Kane + Sane + Clark out > Firmino + Hazard + Kolasinac 0.8 ITB (-4 hit)

Can you afford Sanchez, Cork > Ramsay, Haz? Might be too tight

    Pope Elliot
    Alonso Walker Moreno Kolasinac Hunemeier
    Salah Sterling Richarlison Choupo RLC
    Kane Morata Abraham
    2ft, 0.9m itb.
Sterling and Walker to Hazard and max 4.9 def?

Is there any point in owning a non-budget third striker?

With a lot of midfielders firing on all cylinders, a non-budget third striker seems pointless

I disagree, nearly everyone supported the power 3. It's now a mass love in for Hazard in a 3-5-2. If his form goes cold as it can do and premium forwards become more consistent everyone will be rushing to swap back. Lots of ifs but better to stay ahead of the curve rather than chasing.

To much pool in there tbh. I would go with 2 max (Salah + Cout/Firm).

    DDG
    Otamendi, Hegazi, Mee
    Salah, Sterling, Richarlison, Gross, Hazard
    Kane, Morata

    (Elliot, Daniels, Mariappa, Quaner)

2 FT, 0.4 ITB - all set on Gross and Daniels -> RLC and Christensen this week and then get DCL (to rotate with RLC) and then Kenny in for Hegazi. Sound about right?

    Cheers
