Apparently Nemanja Vidic could miss United’s visit to the Reebok at the weekend after Serbia’s Euro 2008 qualifier with Kazakhstan was postponed for a second time on Sunday. Whether or not that is the case will depend on Serbia’s chances of qualifying – something we’ll know more about after Wednesday’s games.
Right now Serbia need to beat leaders Poland in midweek and hope that Portugal fail to pick up a point at home to Finland. That scenario looks pretty unlikely and should it not materialise then we should see Vidic released from the Kazakhstan game an in the United lineup at Bolton. If absent, it’s likely that Brown would move to central defence with Pique coming in at right-back.
