Once again the Fantasy League are first out of the blocks for the new seasons with registrations for their “Classic” game opening today.
In a low key launch, it appears that unlike last season, there a no new features for the game available. Indeed most of the information available on the site is based on last season’s competition. One thing to note however is that this early registration stresses that you can sign up for “the same price as last season” – a fee of £10. Quite why this is a bonus is not yet clear, although this may well mean that later registrations could be subject to a price rise. Once again Standard, Silver and Gold packages are available for £10, £15 and £20 respectively. A full review of this game and its packages can be found here.
Like last season, this early registration only allows us to sign up and pay for teams – squad selection is set to take place “in early July”. Last season this became available on July 11th.
More games are expected to launch in the next week or so. The Daily Telegraph is odds on to follow soon as the scramble for registration fees begin. There are also rumours that the Fantasy Premier League could open its doors as soon as tomorrow, although last season this game launched on July 7.
