Judging by the Fantasy Premier League “Transfer’s In” stats, there are few thousand fantasy managers who may have missed the news that Fulham’s John Pantsil could face a three match ban.

Pantsil’s tackle on Eboue at the weekend was clearly a red card offence but went unpunished by referee Martin Atkinson. There is a chance however that the FA will consult video evidence of the “tackle” and go back to Atkinson for a post match verdict on the challenge. That could lead to a three match ban for violent conduct.

The Fulham man is currently proving an attractive proposition for some fantasy managers in the FPL as he appears to have ousted Stoor for the Fulham right back spot and is priced at just 4.0. Over 5000 managers have brought the player in so far this gameweek.
