Man United have suffered a blow in their build up to their Champions League tie with Villarreal and their clash with Chelsea, with the news that Michael Carrick has broken a bone in his foot.
Carrick sustained the injury against Liverpool this weekend and will now face up to six weeks on the sidelines.
The compensation for United is that Owen Hargreaves made a return from injury in the game on Saturday and would seem to be the tailor-made replacement in midfield.
In other news, Berbatov is a doubt for for the Villarreal game, while some fella called Ronaldo will play a part according to Ferguson. More on him later.
