There’s nothing like some last minute team sheet speculation to keep us on our toes.

Wenger appears to be sizing up the possibility of sticking with Song in midfield with Denilson handed a rest. Song offers some extra height at the Reebok and Wenger has been talking up both players today. In the same match Megson is talking down Elmander’s chances of making it – surely he’s not trying to play mind games with the professor?

Moyes is hinting that he could rest Lescott after some poor performances – there’s also a suggestion that the defender is struggling with the ankle tweak suffered in Thursday’s UEFA Cup tie. Tim Howard is also a doubt for the trip to Hull – he’s been suffering with a virus apparently.

Finally, O’Neill seems optimistic about the chances of Carew, Davies and Young making the trip to West Brom on Sunday. Fingers crossed on this one – I’m banking on Young prospering again.
