Shaun Wright-Philllips has been given the all-clear to play against Boro at the weekend.
The FA decided last night to extend the deadline on City’s appeal against yesterday’s charge of violent conduct and therefore Wright-Phillips can take the field against Boro.
It’s kind of good news for his owners, although in a double gameweek, Wright-Phillips could still find himself missing the trip to Portsmouth in midweek should the charge be upheld and a three-match ban dished out.
