Just under a year ago I decided to recruit some help on the website. I think you’ll agree that the excellent contributors brought on board have helped this site move on considerably. Recently I’ve made the decision to further expand the team and specifically look for a couple of new article writers to see us through the close season and into the World Cup.
These will be folks who are eager to contribute to the site, who can give up their time to write articles to commission but also come up with their own concepts for articles here on the Scout. While I’m not necessarily looking for experienced writers, a raw or polished talent for writing, some free time and in particular a passion for football and fantasy football are a must.
I plan to post more on this in the next 48-hours or so but I’m putting this up now because I’ve recently had an excellent unprompted application. This has resulted in the person in question, Tom Thurgood (Tom_T), submitting several excellent articles to me, including a “Scouting the Doubles” piece on West Ham which will be posted later tonight. Tom will be joining the team as a new article writer from this point. I trust you’ll welcome him on board.
Rather than continue to recruit new folk on this basis, I wanted to alert the community to this opportunity. So if you’re interested in receiving details on how you can apply for a writing role on the site then please email info@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk with a quick “hello”. Please note, it’s likely to be at least a couple of days before you hear back from me with the next step. Patience is a virtue.
There’s no closing date for applicants right now but I will post again on this in the next few days.
