Get the kettle started, pour yourselves a nice bowl of cornflakes or go the whole hog and fry up a nice full english – either way, make sure you stoke those fires for a nice long day of football discussion at your favourite fantasy based website.
We open early today to give you just under an hour to discuss live in our chatroom all the final finishing flourishes you fantasy fantatics will be placing on your teams…
We’ll then power on straight through the Fantasy Premier League deadline and charge through a big day of football ahead, starting with a rather large derby game up in the city of Manchester. A win for City keeps their assault on the top four more than on course while one for United keeps them hanging onto Chelsea’s coat-tails in the closing stages of the title race – this is a big game, for so many rhymes & reasons.
Then we welcome the 3 o’clock kick-offs as most of our middle table teams (and a couple of relegation candidates) jostle for bragging rights and a few extra pennies to spend in the summer if they can climb the table. Big ties here being Sunderland hosting Burnley and Birmingham hosting Hull, many hopes hang on Darren Bent against the not so well travelled Burnley while those managers owning a Bullard or two will be hoping this double gameweek starts with a goal or two.
The day will not yet be over though as we then head over to White Hart Lane for our early evening game as Chelsea come to visit – if the aforementioned Manchester United don’t manage to come away from the Eastlands this afternoon Chelsea could all but wrap up the title with a victory here.
Like I said, it’s a big day of football. So pull up a chair and pour yourselves a coffee from that now boiled kettle and get discussing – either in the comments, or if you prefer it our Dugout Discussion is open in the chatroom for your pleasure.
