Once again we find ourselves watching the clock tick towards the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline. With so many injuries to so many fantasy favourites (I count 98 players red or yellow flagged on FPL) most of us are having our hand forced into multiple transfers (none for me this week however). With the following FPL deadline just 80 hours after this one, sitting on your injured players is that little bit more difficult to do.

Then even if you manage to get the transfer(s) you want done, you still have the dilemma of which player to captain. And unless you have Cesc Fabregas (who is the clear leader of the Captain’s Poll this week with 33%), it’s a tricky decision to make…

As well as the Captain’s Poll to help you out, there is obviously the weekly Scout Picks to ponder, the Team News to digest, and the Watchlist (on the right-hand side of the site home page) is well worth a gander. You know the drill by now.

      I'd honestly say it depends when you got them in. I've just done a Nani to Fabs switch because 1 I think his next game is tough even if he does play and 2 because I won't lose much and be able to get him back in for Nasri next week.

        Cheers to all the above....I'm benching Coleman. If Elmo doesn't play then Coleman can come in.

        I'm not sure how Elmo is losing favour with the Gaffer though. He came off on 20 minutes because they were getting spanked by Newcastle and he's a bit of a luxury. The week before he was singing the Elmo song from Sesame Street about how great he was.

    i have the problem of having nani, malouda and vdv this week and have already done a transfer!!! is it worth a four point hit on any or are they all back too soon for it to be worthwhile? Also i brought in bosingwa a couple fo weeks ago and am heavily regretting it....

      A four point hit pratically means they need to score plus bonus to get any return. So it's a gamble. For me, VDV will be back soon but Nani with a groin is a guess. Malouda is down to Ancelotti and maybe how he plays at Anfield.

    I have Nani, van der Vaart and Jara out + Routledge who aint playing.

    Considering Jara -> Jagielka(Distin) and maybe a 4 point hit to replace Routledge (if dont i have to play Enrique away against Arsenal).

    Worth a 4 point hit to bring in a 5.4(5.7) midfielder instead of playing Enrique?
