Carlo Ancleotti confirms that Alex and Anelka are doubts but Essien will return to face Fulham at the Bridge. Drogba was diagnosed with Malaria last night but will start. Down at the Lane meanwhile, Harry Redknapp has left it to Rafael Van der Vaart to decide whether he’s fit enough to take on Sunderland.

    Is it worth taking out Berbatov for a 4pt hit for someone less than his price? If not then Cleverely or P JOnes comes in?

    Does anyone know what the Metro's rules are on midweek fixtures? The next fixtures listed on the site are the weekend's. Do midweek fixtures even count in that competition? And it looks like whatever team you start with on Saturday remians unchanged for any midweek fixtures (if they count at all). Is this correct?

      Just scrollin through and saw your post.
      The team you start with at 12.00 on Sat stays in place all week, and will score you points tonight/tomorrow.
      You can make your weekly "free" transfer any time but it will not count until this weekend round of games
      ie if you transfer a player out now, he will still score points tonight/tomorrow and the incoming player will not start scoring 'til Sat.

      Everybody thought Drog was a risk at the start fo the year to and then he got a hat trick lol. Never underestimate the man, he'll probably go out and knock in another 3 goals.

    Is Kelly for Liverppol gonna play tom night? He did ok against Chelski, he is worth a cheeky punt at 4.2 mil if he is going to play. I think the pool, might start to get there act together now torres is finally scoring again.

      I always back the home keeper, especially as in your case:

      Gomes at home facing no Bent
      Robinson away facing a boyed Carrol

      Gomes every day in my opinon, then again I am not sure if the spuds have even kept a clean sheet this term in the prem?

        Good point, he may try to hard, especially if UTD score first. feck it, im going with Tevez, if City do anything Tevez will be involved. Plus UTD will be relying on Park or the little pea to score as everyone else is out.

    To Alcaraz or not to Alcaraz, mmmmm. Wigan is almost like a home game for Liverpool. Very tempted to go with him instead of Boateng or Vidic.

    Did anyone hear about this earlier today. Police cordoned off Liverpool City Centre when a suspicious object was discovered in a car. It later turned out to be a tax disc !

    chelsea are only 56.5% to get a cleanie at home to fulham on total fpl even after keeping 5 cleanies at home. this puts me off captaining cole a little. god it really is a tough capt week. think its easier to just pick drogba

    blackpool have scored2+ goals every 2nd away game and have scored 4 against wigan. As a Villa supporter I'm not convinced its as easy as people think.
