As Mark fiddles with his wildcard team (how on earth he’s still got it I don’t know), and everyone else frets over whether to take a(nother) four-point hit, the Saturday Surgery is here to take you through the final hour before the gameweek 15 deadline unscathed. Before making your transfer(s) (if it isn’t already too late), be sure to check out the usual helpful sources…

First of all you have the Team News and the Injuries and Bans pages which, as always, house all the latest injury news and have our predicted line-ups for each Premier League team.

Then you have Mark’s Scout Picks which, given the form of Bolton Wanderers and recent team sheets, surprisingly do not recommend Matt Taylor.

If 14 players is just not enough for you, then underneath the Season Ticker on the home page is the Watchlist. Here you’ll find names of players recommended for the next few weeks or so. This is where Mark gets his Matt Taylor fix.

Once you’re happy/content with your team, you then have to make one of them captain. Don’t worry, we can help you there as well. The middle column on the home page is where you can view the most popular choices for captain this week amongst the Fantasy Football Scout community (4000+ votes cast). Nani and Johan Elmander have been switching positions at the top of that pile all morning, both with around 20% of the total vote.

no free transfer and about 2mill in the bank. Defence needs work and midfield in pieces.

A) Elmo> Kolarov
B) Oseha>Evra
C) Albrighton> Lee
D) Albighton> diffferent cheap midfielder.

Would prefer to sort out my defence, but this week is more about damage limitation. Any suggestions?

        I never said they wouldn't, although I'm not sure they will keep more than City.
        
        I'm stating there are other teams with better fixtures and better odds of keeping CS in the near future than MUN.
        
        MUN defenders come at a price and there is definitely better value for money at the moment due to fixtures.

        Really? I seem to recall MUN being 0-2 down to Villa not 2 weeks ago.
        
        I also recall them conceding 2 against Fulham, Bolton, West Brom and Liverpool as well as conceding 3 against Everton.

In the event that he doesnt play (snow)then...

I have my captain strategy set to FORM
BUT...my top 2 form players are Elmander and Carroll both on 7.2
which means that the strategy switches to PRICE (in the event of tied stats)

Here's my question
If Drogs doesn't play coz of snow, then neither will Carroll
But will that mean Elmander will default to captain or will the "computer say no"
?
