With the game between Fulham and West Ham at 12pm, today’s Matchday Surgery has turned into an early Dugout Discussion. It’s essentially the same thing however, just follow this link to our chatroom for pre-deadline discussion.

I’ve no team news to bring you yet for the game at Craven Cottage, but unfortunately I do have a couple of postponements to notify you of…

  • Blackpool Vs. Liverpool – OFF

It was always going to be the most likely Premier League game to fall foul of the weather, and that has proved true. A frozen Bloomfield Road pitch is once again responsible for the postponement.

  • Everton Vs. Birmingham City – OFF

Having passed the “key test” live on Sky Sports News yesterday morning (yeah, I was watching Sky Sports News on Christmas morning), this cancellation comes as somewhat of a surprise. The reason for this game being off is “due to the adverse weather conditions in Liverpool overnight the stadium is not in a fit condition to stage a Premier League football match”, as given on the Everton website.

If any more games are called off before the Fantasy Premier League deadline, I’ll update this article and announce it in the chatroom.

    Read both everton and liverpool games were called off 5 mins before the deadline so rushed upstairs to make a quick change!

    4 point hit but took out cahill for gamst petersen (thinking cahill will come out in the next week) and konchesky for rafael

    Managed to hold fire and save a transfer despite having Jags.

    Next week probably gonna do Jagielka + Elmander to GJohnson and Wellbeck.

    Got Salciso in for Samba. I had the Mexican in before and he did very little. Oh how I would LOVE that first premier league goal today.

    Cahill, Coleman and Konchesky on my bench, and about 7 million in the bank, my team is very poor this week. Hopefully won't lose too much ground and I can look forward to two free transfers next week for Mr. Gerrard and Mr. Van Der Vaart.

      i have just sold coleman > Huth (mainly to field 11)

      Coleman is a steady prospect but Everton cant keep a cleanie to save their lives so there is much reliance on his points coming from further forward.

      early transfers at this time of year are never a good idea imo

    WO major panic there. overslept my alarm for the second week running, looked at the clock and it was 11.27. just enough time to turn on the laptop, log into scout and FF, see the cancelled matches and sub out the Greek for Salcido. would have gone for rafael but his price went up last night and was just too expensive.

    Don't have a single player in a cancelled match now.
