With the gameweek deadline drawing in and the heat getting turned up on the comment boards, it’s time to open up our Saturday Surgery chatroom.

Those Fantasy Managers looking for validation, inspiration and a good helping of high-speed banter to see them through to the Fantasy Premier League gong, can check-in right here.

Our Dugout Discussion chatroom will open up at around 12.30 to cover the first of today’s kick-offs, as Nikola Zigic carries the hopes of thousands of Fantasy Managers on his lofty shoulders against the Baggies. Is it only me feeling rather uncomfortable about relying on the fortunes of the skyscraper Serb?

    Just seems to be a bigger risk NOT to captain a double gameweek player - the likes of Arteta and Roger Johnson get a 4pt start on Tevez, and two chances to make an impact.

      The lead is gone straight away and then looking at it 1v1 you have a ridiculous captain pick on your hands.

      I'm going with Tevez, seems the less risky strategy imo.

    Not feeling this week's doublers at all - Everton and Brum are two mediocre teams and I don't want to be carrying too many of their players for future weeks. Good luck to those that gambled and did the opposite.

    Quick question. Have done a 4 pt. hit bringing Nasri inn for Fabs. I am 45 pts behind #1 in my mini league and 20 pts before #3. Both #1 and #3 got Brunt, same as me. They have done one transfer each. Should I take another hit to bring inn Arteta for Brunt?

      I gladly will let you call me an idiot after the game is done but I don't see Tevez gettin anything from this one and much less in future.

      Why? Dzeko. He is getting more comfortable in a role that pushes Tev into assist potential and less into goal potential. Combine that with Wigans awesome defensive record away and I just don't see much return.

      I decided to transfer in Saha over Zigic/Torres at the last minute. No Chelsea cover for this week is a real ballache BUT City and Stoke away but me off and I'd play Saha in every game over the next 3 weeks.
