The Scout Arrives on a New Server

Fantasy Football Scout moved to new servers this evening. What you’re seeing now is the site served up by our new boxes.

There are a couple of notable changes you should be aware of. Firstly the Recent Comments is using new code which fixes the problem with links not taking users direct to comments on pages.

Secondly we’ve added some Facebook and Twitter integration – you can now “Like” and “Tweet” articles posted on the site. This may not work until we’ve switched certain site settings but this should be working fine in the next 24 hours or less.

Indeed, there may well be some teething troubles and we still have some housekeeping jobs to do so please be patient while we get used to our new surroundings. Thanks in advance.

*Edit* There’s a known issue with some users getting a message regarding posting comments too quickly. We’re currently looking into this. Thanks for your patience.

*Edit* We’ve cracked the problem with the comments error. This should be solved for all users by the morning – it’s linked to server settings that will take time to filter throughout the big internet thing.

*Edit* Recent Comments now uses the comment poster name to link to comment in addition to the >> link.

      I personally am thinking about getting Welbeck, but I'm reluctant to play him in 33 when he's away to Birmingham and there are so many double gameweek players knocking about. One problem, though, is the fact that there aren't many good budget doubles on that week.

      Just a general observation, that I love saving up a free then doing 3 transfers for a 4 point hit. Very satisfying, and easily the most reliable way of spending points.

              always thought that was a proper holiday- three weeks. Real time to settle in, relax, take your time, no rushing etc. The french know how to do things, big time.

              Problem is most modern jobs only give ye 21 days or so off, i think this is the main reason ive never settled into office life. the stop it puts on your freedom is scary to me.                     600 is amazing for 5 weeks man. wont be a KA, youll see that itll be a jap import, very small. Id say get yourself a quality motor, make sure your licence etc is ok (it will be, but make sure), email them about your Brit credit card (can be an issue at times).

                    get yourself a nice car man, if you have a quality motor, having rented cars on so many trips myself, it LITERALLY doubles the pleasure of the trip. They become shaggtin wagons also 🙂 You aint pickin up any flightly ladies in a daewoo matiz

        why not? need a 4.0m keeper. Coleman still got a couple of good fixtures. Stearman is the required 3.9m and Wolves have some ok fixtures out of the lesser teams.
        who'd you go for instead?

          id downgrade either vdv or carroll and upgrade stearman and kingson

          as for coleman i have him but id really rather not

          tevez - torres is in similar form and has better fixtures, rooney has better fixtures and form

      Its pot luck really, personally I think the Chelsea backline won't change in the PL till the end of the season now.

      I think Ivanovic tends to have more chances per game and he is a bargain at 0.1 less than Terry 😉
