What have Mark’s facial hair and Roger Johnson’s short back and sides got in common? Both somehow make appearances in this hastily arranged episode of the Scoutcast. That reminds me, I learnt a new word today in my car ride to work – ‘merkin’ – honestly I had no idea before today. (Get to the point Granville – Editor Mark)

Focusing on the serious business of Fantasy Football and I stretched my lead this week, contrary to Mark’s assessment of my ‘troubled’ squad in last week’s episode; he really needs to pull off miracles now if he’s to get back in it.

Elsewhere, Aleksandar “Lolorov” gets more than just a passing mention. Is it me or does that player get more attention on our site than any other player bar Nicolas Bendtner and Matt Taylor?

All aboard is back and guess who’s the most transferred player in this week? I’ll give you a clue – he’s not playing this weekend. Oh how we love those casual Fantasy Football managers!

Would appreciate any advice on my team!

    Foster (Al-Habsi)
    Vidic Kolorov Walker Coleman (Kelly)
Barton Fabregas Yaya Toure VdV Nani
    Van Persie Tevez Odemwingie

    1.6M in the bank.

    1) Kolorov to Luiz sound a good move?

    2) Who should I start this weekend out of Coleman, Yaya and Barton??

    3) Anyone think of any transfer I could take for a hit. Wanted to bring in Adam and Lampard but should I wait a week perhaps?

      1) yes

      2) don't think you could go wrong with Barton or Colman...Yaya's a fat ass under achiever in my book. I would lean more towards Barton even though I think there will be goals in both. Doesn't look like Barton is on spot kick duties anymore. But you have to think he'll have a bigger role with Nolan out.

      3) Might as well wait, you never know, you might get some spot kick action out of VDV.

Since there is a massive deal about the 'Respect' campaign at the minute, what about Ferdinand's blatent disrespect of Ray Wilkens. He was mocking him all over twitter.

"We should get #stayonyourfeet trending!! I think ray wilkins is in on this he has mentioned it so much!!"

"Just got up for half time and I'm thinking #stayonyourfeet !!"

"Got the volume off mute for 15mins....just told the masseur to #stayonyourfeet while giving me a rub or ray will go bananas!!"

"#stayonyourfeet has just shown up in the 2nd half, and I thought we'd seen the last of it!!"

He got the phrase "stay on your feet" trending on twitter. He even slipped it into his interview at the end of the CL game. He's basically having a laugh at Ray Wilkens expense... classy guy.

It amuses me that people now treat Ray Wilkins as if he's some sort of disabled blind mentally-challenged orphan child who can't stick up for himself.

That twitter-chat also amuses me slightly, I must admit.

And? Wilkins is not a referee, FA official, manager or player. What difference does it make? Glen Johnson attacked Paul Merson a while back and no one gave a shit.

            UF:

The profanity-laced response is a reference to Rooney's harmless and spontaneous display of emotion 😀 after scoring 3 vs. West Ham - and for which he is banned for 2 games. Teets gets endless amusement from this, as his Captain Terry is an even more scandalously foul and loathsome character than the Roon.

And 'Almeida' is: Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha, commonly known as Nani.

I think there will be loads of goals in the Everton match. I have the same back three as you, but I would be tempted to play Huth against Spurs if I had him. They (spurs) look extremely weak back there and Gallas is still short. Huth is due another whale, soon.

Maybe the Mexican gets the nod on duties. I know one thing, with Nani and Dempsey on the pitch there is bound to be some drama.

Who's the better pick this gw:

    Etherington or Kolarov?

I reckon Stoke should score against a worn out Spurs, and Kolarov could exploit Glen Johnson's absence...

    Also:

    Fabregas, Arshavin or Walcott?

Playing Etherington might make sense as a hedge on my Gomes bet in goal.

A man walks into a bookstore. He asks, "Hi I wonder if you have the new book about goal line technology?"The assistant says, "I'm not sure if it's in yet."The man says, "Yeah that's the one."

Lampard 30%. Nani 6%. Have I suddenly landed in a 2009 world? Ridiculous. There is absolutely no evidence of Lampard firing. I would rather Berb (c) who is not even listed.

Lampard has had more shots on target in last 4 gwks, si. Must admit though, when you take out his two big points hauls v SUN and BLP, he hasn't axactly set the world alight.

I guess the point with Lampard is the fixture list. Nani has been benched last 2 games so I'm really concerned about him starting. Even thinking of trding him for Lamps even 😯

I kinda agree, think Lamps still has enough to be a flat track bully.

Yes and he is on dead balls too.

What two or three trades would you suggest this week with this team:

        Bergovic Sczczczny

        Kelly Kolarov Walker Coleman RJ

        Nani Nolan Lennon Young Nasri

        Odemthingy Rooney RVP?

Your asking me for advice, lol.
Ok, give me time to think.
Whatever you do dont get rid of Nasri like some are suggesting.
If you think of selling someone with blp, double coming up you fail at fantasy football.

              Of course! Rank is immaterial!

I'll keep Nasri for the dgw. Sorry, what does your last sentence mean, TJ?

Meaning Nasri has blp, then a DGW coming up and you'd be a fool if you sell him.
I would do Kolarov, Nani out. Luiz, Lampard in.
