Double gameweek 36 comes to an end tonight, with a potentially decisive game in the chase for that all-important fourth spot. Manchester City host Tottenham Hotspur knowing that a win will see them qualify for the Champion’s League for the first time. For Spurs only a win will do if they hope to mount a realistic challenge in the closing league fixtures.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and the team news is in…

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Zabaleta, Milner, De Jong, Toure Yaya, Adam Johnson, Silva, Dzeko

Spurs XI: Cudicini, Corluka, Dawson, Gallas, Rose, Lennon, Palacios, Sandro, Modric, Van der Vaart, Crouch

The home side drop Fantasy favourite Aleksandar Kolarov, who takes his place on the bench alongside Mario Balotelli and the returning Carlos Tevez. Filling that left-back slot is Pablo Zabaleta, meaning that there’s a place in the side for Micah Richards.

There’s also changes aplenty for the visitors, as recently calamitous ‘keeper Heurelho Gomes is left out, with a “back injury” being cited as the reason. Charlie Adam is the reason Gareth Bale misses out, opening a space for Wilson Palacios in a formation-altered Spurs side, which promotes the hugely popular Rafael van der Vaart up behind Peter Crouch.

Akers Richard or Akers, as he is known, has been regularly haunting this site since July 2008. He is young and foolish, take what he says with a pinch of salt. Follow them on Twitter

But let's not let that get in the way of some good Kolarov bashing...

How many times did Lennon skin Zabaleta?

Need some major differentials for the last 2 gw’s, chasing a 30-35 point lead after tonights match.

Thinking about Hitz, Sessegnon, Henderson and Ba.
Anyone in the same position that can give me some helpful advice? :p

Btw: My rival doesnt have Lamps(Yet), should i captain him this week and hope for some lampard magic that can cut the points?

Problem is, we'll all sell him and then he'll go and get a brace against Liverpool on Sunday.

I'm probably going to ditch Silva. Not sure how much he or any of the City regulars will play considering the Stoke midweek game will be their 4th game in 10 days.

Champions League football is secured now and he has a big enough squad so I think there may be rotation afoot.

Cant see Yaya getting any. Kompany MOTM on Sky so he may get max altho that rarely counts for much. Silva was quiet. Modric will (hopefully!) get 2, I would say Lescott / Kompany / Richards for the 3 & 1.

Well that's it then. The scales have finally tipped 'Project City's' way. I won't be watching them in the CL next year - such a dire, characterless team. At least we were a bit of fun.

True dat. Still wondering where it all went wrong for Spurs. Apart from the fact you have Pavyluchenko and Crouch..

Our strikers have been dreadful this season. VDV was a poisoned chalice and I wonder if he might go in the summer. It's been a memorable season, but I think overall we've flattered to deceive with a few amazing CL nights.

I'd love to see a battle for defeat. What price another Crouchy own goal?

Redknapp has said it would be better not to play in the EL next season. Coupled with the Reds' outstanding form and the awesome Kuyt/Suarez partnership, I reckon 4-1 Liverpool.

Fantastic game FPL wise. Hopefully Modric doesn't get any bps. Yaya will probably get some along with Silva & Richards/Lescott.

If Yaya, Silva and Lescott get the points I will be ecstatic. 6 extra points would not go amiss. I think it'll be Silva Lescott and Richards though. Any idea how long they'll be?
