The penultimate Podcast broadcast of the season is dedicated to one of its most controversial Fantasy figures and features a Mark vs Granville barney of reasonable proportions.

A long-term apologist for the Aleksandar Kolarov’s lack of attacking end product (there’s no excuse for his defending), I find myself under a tirade of predictable flack as Granville dares to use common sense against my rock solid statistical reasoning. The very idea.

Anyone who has personally been angered/abused/mildly upset by Kolarov this season should certainly listen in and blame me 100% for your pain. If that isn’t enough to tempt you then you can also eavesdrop on the usual array of regulars, and witness the mini-league banter as the gap between Granville and myself narrows to just nine points. Nine points. Just nine.

Odemwingie is definitely the reason for my slip up in ranking!

Originally I didn't think I'd ever had him this season, but just checked my transfer history. I got him in my GW26 wildcard team, only to get rid in GW28. Now that week he only scored 1 point, and I transferred him out for Rooney, who got 18 points as it was a double. I also rose to a rank of 5,699.

But ever since I got rid, he has scored 4 or more every week, and my rank is now a lowly 16,875.

So yeah, I blame 'Wingie for everything that has gone wrong this season.

Ok, tactical transfers time to close out my cash league. Currently got a 14 point lead over my rival who has Lampard, so I'll be taking a 4 point hit to bring Lampard and N'Zogbia in for Nani and VDV (will then captain Lamps).

Question then is do I play Luiz and Kolarov as my rival has them and will play them both I would think, or bench one in favour of Roger Johnson with a home game against a Fulham side already on their holidays? The safe play is to match his team, but what would you do?

      I might end up holding on to Carroll, but only because I've Balotelli that I'm very happy to tell to f**k off. If it's in the balance that he'll start or not then I'll be selling. But I would probably lose Zamora over Carroll.

        Yeah, I suppose most would but I like Bobby and mainly kept him for this week. He's quite consistent with his scoring too so probably will be playing him at home to Arsenal last day, could cause their defence some problems imo! 🙂
        
        Yeah, I dodged a bullet with Balotelli. If Dzeko hadn't of scored that goal against Blackburn I'm 80% certain I'd of got Balotelli in.

      It isn't great, mainly because of the defence but not been taking hits lately so that is probably the reason my team is looking wank! 😀
      
      To be honest though, I don't see what other players I'd rather have this week than what I have. No must haves anyway, Liverpool have a tough game despite form.

        Just never know do you. Think he will start one of the two remaining. Think Luiz will start, no point in dropping his confidence and dropping him when Chelsea have nothing to play for anyway. Hughes must be a retard if he doesn't play Zamora, whenever he plays, Fulham actually seem to play well and Silva will 100% start imo.

    Of your starting 11 I'd say Nani closest to the drop. Him to Lamps rather than losing VDV I reckon.
    
    And I would (and am) play Bent. I reckon VDV and Bent are both good shouts to score against variously porous Liverpool and Arsenal teams.

      No, he had huge confidence in how bad Schalke were, coupled with the fact we had a title deciding game vs Chelsea a few days later. Rooney will start vs Blackburn.
      
      Suarez is a nice option but is there not better options you have with your transfer?
