Mark The Beta Test on the new site that opened to Members last night is now closed after the first phase of testing.
We got a fantastic amount of feedback following the first phase and have a good list to work through before we go live again for another pass. We will also be optimising the servers and tweaking various aspects of the site before we open it up to Members once again.
We will keep you posted. Thanks again for the feedback from those who took part in last night’s test.

Riise looks a good option if you're stuck for budget, 1.3 cheaper than Hangeland. All in all it looks solid with a good smattering of penalty takers. Odem over Zamora for me.
I was going for fixtures and think if fit Zamora will do well early on with all this Faroe Island practice he's getting. Riise tho...now there's an option. So how do you know my parents? Is it a political thing? Or a love of Ravens cakes?
Was work,just socially now. I worked in the council play and sport developement, and then in Hollingdean.
I'd rather have Bent than Rooney for the first few weeks. Rest looks sound assuming De Vries is the 1st choice keeper at Wolves.
I was thinking of the way its scored, with more pts for shots on goal, passes etc. Bent is basically a goal man While Rooney could rack up the points without scoring, if Bent doesn;t score he's got nothing else to him.
Anyway that's my rationale...No doubt I'm going to be proved wrong and will duly switch to Bent.
You look a bit heavy in defence for my liking. You don't need 4 top-dollar players back there.

El Tanque is decent enough, he is a world-class poacher. Not the Chicharito type, as he doesn't have the wheels. But he is the king of getting the rock in rather compact areas, and laying a soft first touch and unleashing a decent rail. He was also on PK's I believe for Estudiantes del Plata. Crafty. I've heard flip-flopping on the story though, one minute they've signed him, the next...the club's owners blocked a deal. They must want to lose, Wickham, child please...
Here's a question... go long Chelski Defenders or Attackers early season? I'm tempted by former since I believe back five easier to predict.

think I'm just gonna bite my lip and buy Frank, think he's the safest choice...although I have just watched 2005/06 Premier League Years so I may be a bit starry eyed...
Cole and Fat Frank are sensible early season choices though Malouda might make it easier to build a better team cash wise.
This isn't like last season, where:
a) Malouda was carrying some form into the season from the previous year.
b) There was a 3.5 million difference in price between Malouda and Lampard. It will be probably be more like £1.5 million this year.

I aggree on the Frank front. The order of the day is quite clearly a Chelsea player who's going to play in Gameweeks 2 and 3, who can pick you up a few points.

Why not go with the cheaper, more realistic choice in the Boa-era; Benayoun. Besides Yossi's got liver legs and will be a points magnet. I'm not expecting any PK's in the first GW or two.
This date last year (sunday 18th July 2010) there were already 233k signed up on FPL. Yes, very sad i know.
Being a little autistic I wrote it in my diary last year. I kept a record of the increase more of less every day. A week later it was up to 466k. This year it remains at zero! Waiting goes on.

I flew into Aarhus before going on to Viborg then Aalborg, I didn't spend much time in Aarhus just passed through but from the coach and train the countryside was amazing.
Aalborg was amazing, Danish girls are by far the best looking I have ever seen, even the average ones are better than the best we have here.

Well at least going on holiday for a week will hopefully take my mind of the fact FPL STILL isnt open yet. But my dad has broadband in Spain, so no doubt I will be spending my evenings checking to see if the fpl has started yet..

I put it together on the last season's game subbing in £4.5m for SWA defender £5.0m for Helguson and £5.0m for Holt as guesses and allowing £7.0m for X.
It came to £97m-ish so I'm hoping prices won't go up by more than £3.0m total but I can always downgrade X
I've had the same team name every year and was quite happy with it until you lot started getting clever. This year I might just change mine to "Fat Slag" as I like the ring of it (don't go there!). It's not clever but neither am I 🙂
