Our Player Projections available in the Members’ Area are being updated on a regular basis as the pre-season rolls on and events such as Barton’s fallout and the arrival of Sergio Aguero move the goalposts.

If you’re new to the site – these tables represent the Scout’s predicted returns for Premier League players in terms of goals, assists, clean sheets and several statistics relevant to the Fantasy Premier League game. They can be accessed in the Members Area right here.

There’s been a lot of tweaks over the past 48-hours so, to help our Members get a handle on the changes made, you can read on for a list of the recent activity. You can expect further tweaks to the Projections over the coming days and certainly following the weekend’s final bout of friendly matches.

Arsenal

Increased Aaron Ramsey’s starts and overall projection.

Aston Villa
Another clean sheet added to Villa’s defence and midfield to take Villa on to a predicted 12 clean sheets for the season.

Blackburn

Bolton

Jermaine Beckford’s starts and overall projection increased. Louis Saha’s starts and projection reduced accordingly.

Fulham
Full revision over the squad

Liverpool
Reduced Jamie Carragher’s starts and projection. Increased Dan Agger’s accordingly.
Slightly reduced Luis Suarez starts and projection.

Man City
Corrected error with Lescott’s starts and projection – these have now been increased.
Sergio Aguero added to the Forwards. Mario Baltotelli and Edin Dzeko projections tweaked accordingly. Carlos Tevez starts and projection reduced slightly.

Man United
Slight tweaks to the projections of Rafael, Fabio, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez , Tom Cleverley and Dimitar Berbatov.

Newcastle
Joey Barton’s projection cut while his future is decided. A full revision of the Newcastle midfield has been made as a result.
Reduced starts and projection for Leon Best. Slight tweaks to Demba Ba and Shola Ameobi.

Norwich City
Reduced Elliot Ward starts and projection increased Zak Whitebread accordingly.

QPR
Reduced Kasper Gorkss starts and projections. Revised the defence as a result.
Added Kieron Dyer to midfield.

Sunderland
Slight revision to the defence.
Increased Stephane Sessengon goals and overall projection in the light of his pre-season form and continued role up front.

Swansea City
Jose Moreira replaces Yves Ma Kalambay as the goalkeeper option. Added Wayne Routledge to midfield and reduced starts for Nathan Dyer and Stephen Dobbie accordingly.

Tottenham
Slight tweaks to the midfield and forward projections.

West Brom
Added Ben Foster to replace Boaz Myhill as goalkeeper – saves and Bonus increased.
Removed Gonzalo Jara’s starts with Steven Reid/Billy Jones sharing the right-back role.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Id go with first one, then you have an option of swapping either Roonpig or Rvp to Drogba/Torres.

I'm thinking of keeping cash in the kitty and upgrading Carrol/Suarez to Drogba/Torres.

I am loving the possibility that Suarez won't play the first few weeks, and have a price drop as the casual player dumps him in droves.

Happened with N'Zogbia last year - undepriced all year because of exodus in the first few weeks.

Thing is he is owned by the hundreds of 1000's, so a large number of managers need to do that for the price to drop.

Look at Boselli last year. Small % ownership caused havoc when everyone was running for cover.

Right off the bat, take lucas and wilshere off your team! Def mids dont do sh** in fantasy. Change for Moses(wigan) and sess(sunderland) who have both had outstanding pre seasons and scored 3 goals a piece for their clubs. Plus sess is OOP playing as a striker atm. I would change simpson to Orr bcuz i think newcastles d is gunna be disastrous after jose enrique and bartons departure. Maybe oshea to bardsley as he scores off set pieces.
I like aguero but you might wanna change him and invest in the safer choice in david silva, as he is glaring in pre season as citys playmaker it seems

My mind is torn. My team is pretty much decided besides this.

I have Suarez and RVP 100% up front. I'm not worried about Suarez, he'll play.

Do I have Bent/Chicharito in my team and then have Sinclair in my midfield.

    or

Do I have Nasri in my midfield instead of Sinclair and then a cheap striker e.g. Hoilett

Ok I have three important questions that must be answered before I decide on my team (1st draft anyway!). All opinions welcomed!

Benayoun- I really rate him and he appears to have done very well pre-season (according to reports). A starter?

I'll post my other questions a little later.
    Thanks in advance!

I'd say Benayoun is a big risk and I'll explain my reasons.
He's done well pre-season and is definitely more in and around the 1st team squad than under Carlo.
Yet I'm not convinced he's cemented a place in the 1st XI yet. He is a prime candidate for replacing your Anelkas and Maloudas at around the 70th minute mark though.
Leaving him firmly in the 1 point per game danger buy like Kalou and Sturridge.

Exactly and Chelsea are still after Modric. If he signs Benayoun won't get a game. Yossi will be rotated no doubt. 7.0 is too much for somebody who you can't guarantee a game.

I think you're putting those guys in a position that Benayoun has more or less won. Malouda only really deals effectively on one side of the field. Anelka will be on the right, if at all. And Kalou gets the hot urine treatment. If you see Torres, you'll definitely see Yossi. It is still too early, several players may be dealt...You see Yuri is gone. Kalou needs to be gone before Africa cup. I think Torres and Drogba start together personally. I just don't know where a McEachran fits in. He's played heavy minutes could he just end up going to the bench or has he dialed into Essien's spot?

Ok thanks a lot guys! I really appreciate the different perspectives. Dwebsterlfc you make a very good point concerning Modric.

Manamongst, in my (limited) experience of McEachran I thought Mikel is better adapted to that anchor role. From what I saw, McEachran is much better on the ball than off it. I believe Mikel has played there pre season (so says the guide on this site)

Fancy Malouda but not sure about Duff. He's not the player he once was and his FF score last season(91) is testament to that.

not sure i can agree with this assessment of duff.

certainly age comes into play when considering minutes on the pitch, but if you give him the same number of minutes that dempsey played last season, duff would've scored 150 points, putting him just behind young and ahead of yaya.

just saying. he's healthy and in-form, so i think he's definitely worth a think.

I would be much happier working out 7.5 for Zog if he'd managed to feature in a single pre season game for Villa, he wasn't even on the bench for the 2-0 loss to Derby County yesterday and according to the guide that's their last pre season game. I confess it's left me pondering a Malouda and Silva midfield, which would involve Moses plus a 4.5 for the first three.

        1. They are all starters and integral to their team.

NOT 2 because Aguero is a risk and not sure Nasris heart will be in it this year

That looks pretty good tbh. I like your choice of gk, because he'll rotate well with GK, I'm not sure about Def though, may be you should downgrade him and change fwd for FWD. IMO

Probably too much spent in defence. Downgrade one of those to add a premium midfielder.

Otherwise, can't see much else wrong with it.

if fabs is out, ramsey is not guarateed starts as nasri will be restored in CM like the start of last season leaving arsha walcott and the new french rotate the wings. song and wishere will play holding mid, leaving ramsey rotating with them

He's been brilliant pre season though hasn't he. I think he's some1 you'd have to take a look at over the first few weeks and assess it from there.

I was just considering this, the thing to keep in mind is how well Nasri played last season when Fab was absent. If Nasri moves central again, where does that leave the midfield? I guess it depends on if anyone else can play wide left.

If Arshavin stays out of the picture and Ramsey continues to show his preseason form I'd be looking to get him in as Wenger will be forced to keep Nasri out wide.

Need some help. My team is curently:
    Given, Ruddy
A Cole, Kompany, Hughes, Simpson, Orr
    Malouda, Silva, Sessegnon, Moses, Emphraim
    RVP, Caroll, Holt.

I currently have 1m in the bank, and need an additional 0.5m to upgrade Holt to Zamora. Who should I downgrade?

To be honest, id rather take the advice of someone who has demonstrated more than once that they can finish well (ie top 5k or whatever) or more than one occasion over someone who finished inside the top 500 last year but ranked 156k the year before!

need a 6.5m midfielder to stay in my team until gwk11

    narrowed it down to:

taarabt - obvious choice but may leave end august and would then have to waste a transfer

sessegnon - OOP, sunderland fans expecting great things but tough fixtures

duff - expect him to score quite well if not spectacularly and nice fixtures

albrighton - would mean trebling on villa

    thoughts?

Last season he'd have been one of the top scoring defenders bit he was classed as a midfielder. His value is still reasonably low and he's a guaranteed starter.

All good points above, but what your forgetting is if the BPs were based on Actim Index stats last season, he would have had the 2nd highest amount of BPs for a defender last season. Only to be beaten by Vidic and was ahead of FPL top scoring defender Baines

    Want a villa midfielder.

Alot of folk going n.Zogbia 7.5 or Albrighton 6.5

My money is tight so thot maybe Steven Ireland 6.0 will he play or safer with sum1 else?

I think at the moment Ireland appears to be a bit of an unknown quantity. N'zogbia could have a very good season, but if money is tight Albrighton looks like he could be a decent shout. Particularly as a young player who really started to grow into himself last season.

Keep an eye. If Ireland starts to look a bit tasty it's much easier to downgrade. Incidentally, if Fab goes then Ramsey could be a very good punt for 6.5 IMO.

I would not put Ireland into the team. One good season does not make a good fantasy prospect and he was reportedly poor in the pre-season.
