From MI6 to the CIA, never has there been such rigid protection of confidential information than that surrounding Mark’s initial Fantasy squad. So, when super-secret agent himself joined me in the studio for our first podcast of the season, I was resigned to getting thrown the odd teasing titbit but little else.

However, it was to my very great surprise that he’d gone and left the proverbial back door open, there, “live” on air, he handed me a laptop giving me open access to his team on screen right in front of me. Since I was already in the house, he reluctantly decided to show me around.

An unexpected twist to our first podcast of the season and, dare I say it, a rare privilege for the listener.

          He'll be alongside Lucas in a 4-2-3-1, will be on corners and maybe some free kicks, but probably not pens with Kuyt in the team and definitely not when Gerrards back. I just don't see him scoring as well as last season, far fewer bonus points to be had and at double the price of last season.

    Ignore name was a drunken joke that went a bit wrong.

    Please RMT really ripping my hair out trying to fix it. Yes its 3-5-2 as I think midfielders will score better again on points again this year.

        I think Liverpool are just like Arsenal they leak goals for fun but not as bad. I think his price will go up to around 5.5 hopefully 6. Then that extra 1 million I can buy Luiz or Alex etc. Which would give me a back 3 of Manutd, Chelsea and Man City - the top 3.

        Lita is keeping the bench warm is not going to be starting what so ever. Was either Caulker or ORR, and in my opinion Caulker is a gem and Swansea should concede less that QPR.

        He is there main man and penalty taker, i think he should get 8 goals anyway + assists and BP's.

        If i were to improve on him who would i buy? I already have 2 big strikers who will play every week almost. RVP will be coming in for Drogba in GW3.

    Gents 2 important questions - cnt find the answers anywhere!!!!

    1. Our head to head league is 19 strong and £50 a man, couple of lads havent paid but said they will pay day bla bla bla BUT if they dont and we delete them from head to head after say week 2, what happens to the points people won/lost off them and the fixtures moving forward????? As money involved its vital

        I'm only looking at my team properly for the first time now. It's a lot easier to knock other people's than choose your own. Lampard vs Drogba. Kuyt vs Carroll. Hmmm. There's actually very few players I want! Kelly a sure thing?
