Monday Is FPL Bonus Point Day

While we wait for further information on the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) situation, I thought Iā€™d draw your attention to a recent rule tweak concerning the Bonus Point awards which some of you may have missed.

The FPL rules now stateā€¦

ā€œBonus points will be awarded on the Monday morning after the weekend matches are played. Any matches played on a weekday night will be awarded on the following morning.ā€

So, just to prevent even more frustration later this evening, we thought weā€™d make this clear to all in advance. The Bonus Points will be awarded after all the Gameweek action has been reviewed and any scoring issues addressed – which, given that they are now based on a system driven by a statistical index – the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index – is perhaps not surprising.

Fantasy Football Scout will of course be publishing a review of the Gameweek on Monday, discussing the Bonus Points and the EA SPORTS PPI in full.

Later today we also hope to have our first set ICT Scout Index scores available to Members which should offer some guidance on where the Bonus Points are likely to go.

As mentioned in my recent comments in the site earlier this morning, if we can get an update on the FPL situation, we will pass what we can.

        Happy. People are getting too het up over one gameweek.

        triggerlips last night was saying how he wasn't even in the top 1 million at the start and finished 500th. The start is important, but over the season, you'll get there.

          Come off it Camzy. Obviously the fairest thing for all is to start over from gw2. It's not one week either, some people have been lumped with a large chunk of their team they don't want through no fault of their own.

      end of the day ppl should've left their team in a decent state day ago, why wouldn't you have? i fully agree that it's ur own fault if you haven't and don't support this either.

          I only did a team for the first three GW's, so it would suit me pretty nicely indeed (although I did actually want to log on this morning and change it about with a longer view in mind, whether I actually would've changed it or bottled it and kept it the same I'll never know).

          I think there probably should be an extra WC, but not one that has to be used next week, for example. There'll probably be quite a few teams that weren't actually all ready to go and needed tweaking this morning. Just a major cock up from FPL. If something is done, or it remains as it is, I don't really mind in all honesty. It'll actually be a bit unfair either way.

    All last night and all this morning I have been trying to log in to register a team but your sh*tty site can't handle a bit of traffic and as a result I have no team. And don't start saying "ooh you've had a month" because if a man can't pick 15 players in a a whole evening and a morning then he's a f*cking idiot. The last 2 seasons I have left it late and it has been fine, as it probably was every other season.     You will be able to view your opponents teams.
    Alternatively, typing random numbers, will give you random teams!

        Cheers, well i logged in last night at like 5:30 in the morning before i went to sleep and it worked fine, but just tried and it just keeps saying 'Error logging in. Please check your details and try again'..well pisses me off, why can't it just work?!!! haha. ah well, hopefully they should get it sorted later today.
