The ScoutCast – Episode 54 – Crash

As if out of sympathy for the Fantasy Premier League, or podcast recording software crashed at the death this week. Finished. Kaput.

Panic ensued – hands on head there were cries of “I can’t go through that again” from host Mark as I desperately attempted to recover our lost words. Luckily, temporary files restored, our fifty fourth episode was rescued and rebuilt like Ledley King’s knee. Hopefully it won’t collapse again next week – like Ledley King’s knee.

Within it you’ll find unusually muted tones as Mark and I dissect the events or rather “non-events” of the weekend. Frustrations vented, this week’s broadcast picks up to its usual pace and departs on an optimistic note.

Listen in and share our pain.

    aguero bent suarez
    1.5 in the bank

worried about lack of chelsea and united coverage. also no coverage from everton and they have good fixtures coming up. suggestions?

should i use 1.0 to upgrade fergeson to moses, use it for other upgrades or should I keep it in the bank?

who should i captain? i'm thinking one of the forwards but i'm not sure who. and is given or hilario more likely to get the clean sheet?

any advice/suggestions would be appreciated! thanks guys

      Baines Ward Brown (Taylor Simpson)

      Cahill Sess Sinclair N'Zog (Moses)

Wondering whether to substitue Vorm/Ruddy for Given and downgrade Rooney to Aguero or failing that Rooney to Fletcher and spend more on the midfield and/or defence. Any thoughts?

    Good morning lads.

If anyone cares for a quick RMT, here it is:

    Hilario (Given)
Bosingwa, Kompany, Sanderos, (Simpson, De Laet)
    Young, Cahill, Sinclair, Moses (Taarabt)
    Bent, Torres (c), Holt

I got 3.5 mil in the bank for later upgrades - wanna bring in some of VDV/RVP/Rooney/Aguero later, depending on form and availability.

Do you reckon this is a good squad? Would you make any major changes?
Would you bring Taarabt in for anyone else?

    Cheers!

im leaving taarabt on the bench also this week.

I dont understand the 1000's tranfering in Aguro?? Not proven yet at all!

Yeah he played well....2 goals and an assist!

BUT they were playing SWANSEA!! A experienced premiership defense would not stand off him like they did for the 2nd goal and the 1st was a tap in??

Did he do that when he came on against the real Manchester Team in charity sheild? NO!

He is totally proven in La Liga and for Argentina. He is different class, and the only doubt was whether he will take time to adapt to the Premier League. Not all players do - and all the evidence so far is that he will hit the ground running.

+1. hilario could be good for a couple of weeks then a precious transfer will have to be spent on a goalie. think given will do just as well ove rthe next couple of weeks.

I think many had him, but then Torres played very well last week that people have him in their team and Torres is now their Chelsea cover.

Rotation or injuries and u may not have 11 with Ferguson in your squad. I dont like carrying deadwood.
