There’s only one televised Premier League fixture today, but with blockbuster games kicking off earlier at Carrow Road and Molineux, we’ve opened the Dugout Discussion chatroom so you can pour over all of today’s action.

We’re at Carrow road first, where Norwich City shortly begin their home campaign. They come up against a Stoke City side perhaps a little worse for wear after their midweek Europa League venture. Half an hour later, Fulham (another team having to cope with extra European commitments) travel up to face Mick McCarthy’s Wolves.

After that, it’ll be time to tune in to watch Gary and Jamie set-up a potential cracker between Bolton and Man City, with both sides looking to top the table.

So join us in the Dugout Discussion, which will stay open throughout the day to soak up your views on the action.

When did scout pick get so bad and when did teams of the week etc I actually thought I would benefit this season by using scout, but most of my decisions have been doubted by all the people posting on here and I end up with low 30 s two weeks running

    Scout has ruined fpl

Good for news though but forum comments really screw you up

ok next gw will be relatively low scoring except for suarez maybe. manure will score 2-3 versus arsenal but no sure who will score.

villa wolves will be tight, maybe 1-1 unfortunately but equally could be 2-2

newc-ful has a chance to be 0-0, newc cleansheet. swansea could keep a cleany but gyan is most likely to score in that game

everton are playing blackburn so they have a chance to do ok, baines could score heavily because he's their best player by a mile

      Good lord, what infantile nonsense!

Take responsibility for your own decisions and don't pass the buck on because you were too soft to make your own decision---your fault not theirs or anyone elses.

The scout team is nothing more than a logical guess at what should be the highest percentage chances of scoring any given game week, according to form/budget/fixtures with a mix of personal preference.

This game has always had sheep, the forum just gives them a place to graze...don't blame the farmer if you end up being one of those sheep, he didn't finalize your squad.

your right , I don't think its particularly Torres fault. Its the way they set up the front line that squeezes him out of the game, he's got nowhere to roam apart from backwards. He feeds off scraps in a crowded box (but does think he can then dribble through 4 players rather than passing)

I think there is lots of choice for variation and good value players in the 4-5m bracket for defenders and 5-6.5 for mid-fielders.Its going to be an exciting season I think now that the "value" players are more obvious.

Exactly, and if he doesn't it's cushioned by the fact that we kind of half expected it :-). Plus the players I plan to bring in with my 2 free are cheaper anyway so the price drop shouldn't effect too much.

I mean what the hell is going to change between now and saturday to see torres get a hat-trick?

he has scored 1 in 27 games. Sure norwich are a promoted side but they are well oranised and hurry chelsea's old team off the ball.

Norwich are not a bad side. They are very well organised and even if they become tired after 60mins, the likelihood is that Torres would have been taken off by then. Secondly, it is more than possible Drogs could start.

I'm sorry, but for 11 million, you want a proven scorer. Suarez/Bent, even Dzeko could be hugely better next week and if you can find the extra million, Rooney could steal the show.

        Just an opinion anyway
