A strong run of upcoming fixtures for Arsenal sees Theo Walcott ranked highly on our updated Watchlist.

Having suffered an ankle injury during pre-season, the winger made a tentative beginning to the campaign as Arsene Wenger eased him back into first-team action with a thirty minute sub appearance in the opener at Newcastle. Since returning to full fitness, however, Walcott has been a key figure as the Gunners look to rebuild following a summer of key departures.

His contribution to Arsenal’s Champions League qualifying campaign proved crucial, scoring home and away against Udinese as Wenger’s side secured a place in the group stages at the Italian club’s expense. Walcott also scored in the recent 8-2 humiliation at Old Trafford, meaning he has netted three times in four starts for Arsenal this season. Clearly, he’s a man in form and a look at the next six Gameweeks highlights he also has the fixtures- the ideal Fantasy combination, then.

As highlighted in our recent Watchlist article, Arsenal have the kindest run of upcoming games of any top-flight side, with four of the next six games at the Emirates. With (SWA, bla, BOL, tot, SUN, STK) up next, it’s fair to say there’s a substantial chance of the Gunners scoring in every one of those fixtures and although Robin Van Persie will no doubt be the preferred option by many, Walcott is finally showing the consistency that has previously failed him and made him such a frustrating Fantasy choice.

Priced at 9.0 and owned by just 76K Fantasy managers, he looks like flying under the radar in the meantime, though with Brendan Rodgers’ Swansea arriving at the Emirates this Saturday, Walcott looks in the mood to change all that.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Suarez until you see more of how Mata does, and if he looks fantastic, put him in after the United game.

Mmm that's a really tough choice. I'd go Walcott and Smalling though. City are more attacking now and I'd have more confidence in Man U defense plus Smalling going forward, while Kompany sits back. This is coming from a City fan by the way. I think you're good with David Silva as your only city midfield coverage. I think he'll be more consistent than Nasri and Walcott has some tasty figures.

These are my opinions, but go with your gut. Anything could happen, take some risks!

I just hope that loads pick up Walcott, he loves repaying his fans. He will not make it through the match. Be it rolling his weak-ass ankles or a tight hammy, he will curse thee.

Arrrrgh which one to bench this week!

From: De Laet, Warnock, Sinclair, N'Zogbia.

Thinking De Laet since Norwich have looked fairly dodgy at the back and they're missing Ruddy.

OK question: which defender to play this week?

    A) Ward vs Tottenham - also have Adebayor so would have to hope he picks up an assist/BP's?

    B) DeLaet vs West Brom - not sure how they'll go defensively with their starting GK out?

Need some advice. Have already taken a four point hit this week and have Ruddy(sus) and Hilario who know looks unlikely to play as my keepers. Is it worth taking another hit to bring in a keeper? only have 4.8 to spend and if so who do I get?

    OK I need help people.

Not had the best of starts through blind persistence with the likes of Baines and Torres.

    My team is:
    Given, Schwarzer
    Enrique, Bosingwa, Huth, Hughes, Baines
    N'Zogbia, Sinclair, Taarabt, Cahill, Moses
    Holt, Torres, Bent

I have saved up 2 transfers and was thinking of losing Cahill and Torres and possibly get rid of Baines for a very cheap defender so I can have more money for the likes of Young/Silva, Rooney/Suarez/Dzeko

What do people think I should do - I'm also tempted to play wildcard

    Cheers

Had a shocking start through stubborness with Baines, Malouda and Cahill - don't ask - anyhow have finally taken the plunge, played my WC and have been playing with it all week. In the end went for a strong upfront with a gamble on RVP but can't decide if I need to downgrade one striker to say Ruiz to fit in the likes of Young, maybe Arteta and bin Mata - also will Nasri play - only a broken finger I know but not like Mancinni is short of options! 0.7 million in the bank. Any thoughts much appreciated

    So my team is….
    KRUL ( Vorm )
ENRIQUE BOSINGWA R TAYLOR SHOREY ( De Laet )
MATA NASRI BRUNT ( Moses Dyer )
    RVP ROONEY DZEKO
    Any thoughts?!

Too much newcastle cover in defence, id swap krul for Al-habsi or Hennessy. Id look to get in A Young any which was you can too, instead of Mata for the time being. Leave strikers as is, cant do much better (maybe Suarez but 2 tough away fixtures may not be productive)

this is a great lineup Teamzm... I'm glad others have done the Malouda->Mata gamble.

I just kneejerked massively instead of ensuring a solid first 11. Anyone disagree with this lineup though? I'm worried about richards, mata, arteta gametime & Vorm getting pounded.

    Vorm (ars)
Collins (eve) Boswingwa (sun) Richards (WIG) Shawcross (LIV)
Mata (sun) Silva (WIG) Arteta (SWA)
Rooney (bol) Holt (WBA) Dzeko (WIG)

subs: Sinclair (ars) Moses (mci) Fabio (bol) Hilario (sun)

    Captain: Dzecko
    Vice: Silva
