Today’s early kick-off sees Man City looking to get back to winning ways after throwing away a two-goal lead at Craven Cottage last week.

As Everton roll up to the Etihad Stadium looking to extend their five game unbeaten run, the lineups are out and it’s good news for owners of Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko- both were rested in the midweek Carling Cup clash with Birmingham and return to the starting XI as City look to for the three points that will take them back to the top of the table before Man United take on Stoke this evening.

The sides in full are:

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Y Toure, Barry, Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Fellaini, Rodwell, Neville, Osman, Cahill

    Which players/teams are the biggest surprise this year- plus and minus? I say Vorm and Aguerro on the plus and Torres and sadly Cahill, T on the other. That leaves out the entire Chelsea bench of Lamps, Malouda and Drogs today. Maybe all of Arsenal is the big neg surprise and Newcastle the plus

        I have Vorm and Ruddy, and it seems to be working out pretty well right now. Had to play Vorm at Arsenal when Ruddy was banned, but nearly got a CS out of that anyway... Ruddy today though.

      Thinking of Hernandez, Bent or Adebayor atm. Hernandez has good fixtures and plenty of supply, Bent has a few good fixtures but tricky Man City in there, and Adebayor scoring at the Emirates next week is written in the stars.
