Today’s early kick-off sees Man City looking to get back to winning ways after throwing away a two-goal lead at Craven Cottage last week.

As Everton roll up to the Etihad Stadium looking to extend their five game unbeaten run, the lineups are out and it’s good news for owners of Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko- both were rested in the midweek Carling Cup clash with Birmingham and return to the starting XI as City look to for the three points that will take them back to the top of the table before Man United take on Stoke this evening.

The sides in full are:

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Y Toure, Barry, Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Fellaini, Rodwell, Neville, Osman, Cahill

    Holy crap, loving Metro football right now. In contrast with my fortunes in FPL, i've so far scored 501 points this gameweek totalling 3898 points and 156th overall. Highest ever!

    Congrats to anyone who Captained RVP. With Liverpool, City and Chelsea all having easy home fixtures and in such better form, I rate captaining any Arsenal player as quite a ballsy decision! Well done for reaping the rewards!

        His reaction in 1 on 1 was shit, so Woodgate got to the ball and Hernandez was just unlucky to fall into keeper's legs.

        He'll be just fine.

    is Aaron Ramsey worth adding? considering bringing him in for Victor Moses; Ramsey is valued at 6.3; I have 1.8 in the bank, Ramsey (6.3) is 1.3 more than Moses (5.0)

    thanks!

    Brunt -> Ben Arfa
    Nasri -> Silva

    Worth doing? I need Silva in my team and i need Brunt out.

    And Ben Arfa may be a bargain. He has great fixtures and will either play upfront or just behind the striker.

    Hernandez was the one I was worried about not having against Norwich next week. That has now shifted to Nani and Young.

    Hernandez injury has also made me think Rooney more likely to get longer on the pitch next week if he himself is proved fit.

        Indeterminate. Seemed like his head was hurting more than anything else - and with his head/concussion history, I wonder if they'll be extra-cautious. Also depends on extent of Roon injury, I suspect.

    It doesnt matter about De Gea's penalty save versus Arsenal, his reflex save from Klasnic, sprawling dive across goal against Chelsea or his shot/save ratio. If he makes one mistake against this "direct" Stoke team the media are instantly going to dismiss him as a liability. They really do want the young lad to fail, which is a shame, considering the many ill natured players in todays game and De Gea's grounded nature.
