While the departure of Cesc Fabregas and the arrival of fellow Spaniard Mikel Arteta at the Emirates triggered a burst of interest in the former Everton man, recent weeks have seen Arteta somewhat overshadowed in Arsenal’s midfield. Arsene Wenger has put his faith in Aaron Ramsey to fill the void left by Jack Wilshere’s ankle injury and the Welshman has flourished. Recent returns have piqued the interest of Fantasy managers and Ramsey is now blinking on the radar as a new source of coverage within an Arsenal side facing up to a run of favourable opponents.

In this latest Members article, we use our Opta data to examine Ramsey’s progress in recent weeks, assess his performances in relation to Arteta, and explore his overall potential within the mid-price Fantasy bracket.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Sitting also, mostly cos I think he'll play but also cos bringing him out means bringing him in again in a few weeks.
Its a tough call cos RVP is home to SUN and STK when Rooney plays liv and MCY.

Nothing yet, apparently our best bet for updates is his wife's twitter account. By all accounts he was eating tiramisu last Friday night to cheer himself up after being ruled out for the weekend's game, so you can't get any more comprehensive that that.

The guy never seemed to miss a game for three years, I bring in and he limps off after 17 minutes and misses the next month.

Enrique, but it won't free up much. I'm a city fan so maybe I'm biased, but with De Jong coming back, I think they will be more solid in the back and Kompany will start raking in the cleanies along with bonus points. I'm also holding on to Bos for a few more weeks cause I wannna see if Chelsea tighten up. His assists are good value, but idk if they will keep coming.

Am hoping that kompany-bos and one of three rotating defenders will be my defence for the whole season.

De Jong back means more clean sheets, more defensive displays, possibly less maulings and the possibility of the newly cut priced YaYa becoming something of a bargain if he can bomb forward like last season.

Enrique for me. I can see Citeh keeping more clean sheets now that de Jong is back, and you've got to keep Bosingwa while he's getting starts, if only for the attacking threat (and Chelsea will surely start getting the cleanies.)

I disagree. Why would he have to use a WC? The addition of Ramsey and Aguero would be absolutely fine for this GW. Would be tempted to start Simpson over Brown, Sunderland look horrid at the moment, and obviously should Rooney not feature you're relying on some pretty poor subs but at least they're guaranteed to start (I still have Surman in my team!!!), and the rest of the team doesn't need an overhaul at all. Save the WC, def not needed

    Sooo, couple questions, but first:

    Given/Vorm
    Kompany/Bosings/Shawcross/Raylor/Simpson
    Nani/Silva/Jarvis/Brunt/Dyer
    Roonpig/Suarez/Addebayor

Going to sell the pig, but for who? Debating between Balotelli (Dzeko sitting and Tevez out..) Anelka/Sturridge or maybe even Agbonlahor.

Any of those guys gives me $ to upgrade Brunt (or Jarvis) to a top tier MF. Mata or VDV? Thinking VDV as he's more of a goal threat and Arsenal's defense is shakey.

    Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I'm mostly looking at this coming GW and looking for a good differential vs. the bandwagoners in my minileague. My buddy thinks Balo is likely to start with the other issues City is having with their forwards and, if that's the case, he seems a good bet to score vs. Blackburn. I can always swap him out for one of the similarly priced guys down the road as the rest of my team is looking pretty good going forward and I still have my WC.
