Okay…you might have noticed – things have changed around here.

After months and months of time, money, sweat and tears – we thought we’d roll out the new layout just to see if things held together. It’s a gamble – it may disappear before your very eyes and revert back to the old Scout. Then again, it might be here to stay.

We hope that all goes smoothly – the that the new layout settles on our servers and will provide the basis for a new era for the site. Let’s see how we go.

There is more to do (we know the Watchlist is incomplete and the poll is old). More features to roll out – particularly within the comments code. For now, we’re taking baby steps – although this is a pretty big first stride.

So then, if you stayed with us long enough to reach this ungodly hour, you get to the see the new look on the live servers – a proper first.

We hope you like.

    Quick question about Arteta. How's he been playing? Getting into good positions? Haven't seen the Gunners much this season.

      I watched the spurs-gunners game, he played in a central defensive midfield position, so didn't look too promising there but still took the close-range free kicks

        Cheers Zohan! Not very encouraging especially for 8 mil. Might trade transfer Ramsey in and Moses out for Petrov. Trotters have a good run of fixtures coming up

          nw champ. yea, people are trading Ramsey in for his goal, but he was absolutely terrible in the first half, turning the ball over a lot, having said that, he did have a better, more attacking second half. good luck!

      Not playing as forward as I would have hoped. Ramsey seems to be getting forward more but he had a bad game. Wenger could easily switch their roles and I think it would be much better that way. I'm keeping Arteta for now

        Why down on Schwarzer? Fulham are defensively solid and he rotates well with Vorm.

        Usually picks up save points as well.

    Predicted team line-ups looks great, everything looks sharper and clearer. I like the new comments feature - makes it easy to skip over the childish bickering that clogs the pages up sometimes.

    Not sure about all the black and green though, but it seems churlish to complain. Well done guys, hope it's a winner.

    It's looking much better after I've explored a few options and features.
    Congrats to to team for all the hard work this must have taken. Kudos is due.

    I remember that there was a planned feature to ignore certain posters. This would be very useful but I can't see a way of doing it yet.

    New site looking the good, albiet running very slowly for me (just me or anyone else experiencing difficulties?). I'm sure the teething problems (watchlist etc) will be ironed out quickly. Nice work to all involved in the upgrade.

    Will the Watchlist revert to normal length for the next game week?

    I don't watch any football. To remain competitive I base ALL my transfer decisions on who I can afford on the Watchlist. It takes a couple of minutes every GW. (Now second in my mini league 😉 )
