Sunday’s edition of the Dugout Discussion rolls into action just before the first game of the day kicks-off. The non-televised Midlands derby between West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers serves as our starter before the three-course football feast goes to Emirates for Arsenal versus Sunderland, and then finally to St. James’ Park as Newcastle United host Tottenham Hotspur.

The team news for the day’s opener is in, and here are the line-ups…

West Brom XI: Foster, Reid, Olsson, McAuley, Jones, Brunt, Mulumbu, Scharner, Thomas, Long, Tchoyi.

Wolves XI: Hennessey, Stearman, Berra, Johnson, Ward, Jarvis, Milijas, O’Hara, Henry, Hammill, Doyle.

Our predicted line-ups haven’t faired too well here it has to be said, with the home side naming only naming Nicky Shorey, James Morrision, Graham Dorrans and Peter Odemwingie on the substitutes bench.

Fewer surprises in the visitors line-up, with only David Edwards and Stephen Hunt not playing as predicted, with Nenad Milijas and Adam Hamill slotting into midfield.

So join me in the Dugout Discussion, where you’ll find me slowly rocking in the corner, praying that I can improve my miserable total of 11 points. I have just three players yet to play.

    Well done Brunt - good for you and the people who kept him.

    I got rid in GW7 for Cabaye - who goes on to get 6pts to Brunt's 5. Probably could have kept to this week and got rid as next 5 WBA fixtures aren't great.

      Short term they aren't good, but after that they are excellent again. 6m midfielder for a team that scores goals and in on set pieces. I see value there. I might keep him. See Rambo, he is on the bench. What are the alternatives: Barton. Taarabt. SWP, Murphy, Petrov, Sinclair. Well some good choices there, so I've decided to have 2 6m mids, Brunt could be the one

        Good summary. Cabaye - on set pieces and corners, maybe even pens. R Taylor takes the short free kicks as well.

        Probably over-estimated Arsenal 'coverage' with Ramsey.

            he's not the type of player that u bring off the bench to turn the game around. so there is no pt to keep him on ur bench to rest him.
            however i thnk there is an injury somewhere coz rosiky whos starting instead was pulled out of the czech squad in midweek because of injury.
