Back after our own international break, I bundle Mark into the studio for another podcast and slap him around the face with my Wildcard.

Rusty after a week of absence, we’re forced to get our tongues contorted around a variety of team names, even more baffling than Mark’s unshakable faith in Victor Moses. Yes, indeed, Wigan’s most unfortunate Fantasy flop gets another airing, with Mark mercilessly banishing the Latics to the Championship – surely the only solution to his blind spot.

    A. Van Persie + Eagles (or a mid around that price)
    or
    B. Agbonlahor + Van der Vaart

    Cheers

Don't have the funds for Ramsey, but ya really liking the look of B
Not having RVP would worry me a bit, but like you said Villa/Tottenham have very nice fixtures!

I'd go with B - the rest of your forwardline is strong enough to cover for the lack of RVP, and Villa have pretty sweet fixtures for the next few weeks.

You can always revisit it in a month's time if need be!

Above -75%, there's a risk of price drop for you to take.

If you listen to the Scoutcast, there is mention made that Utd/City are rotating players because of the CL. Silva may well be vulnerable.

Personally, I wouldn't get rid of any of those 3. Who is your current front 3?

This was the first time he's been affected by it though, isn't it?

Maybe the fact the international fixtures fell so close to the CL dates had something to do with it, ie. playing CL didn't seem to make him a rotation risk, but when he had the three competitions to play in it did.

I tend to agree, KSG. I think Mankini hinted at rest because of the internationals played. However, keep an eye on this if City prioritise their CL group games.

Right, just a quick one people as I am heading away this weekend and won't have any access to my team. How's this looking?

    Schwarzer

    Simpson, Bosingwa, Enrique

    RVP (c), Suarez, Sturridge

    Vorm, Tiote, Kompany, Shawcross

    Hi

Really want VDV and Suarez this week.

    My midfield is

A Young, Silva ,SWP, Dyer (Ferguson)

    Attack

    Rooney, RVP, Sturridge.

IF I got rid of RVP or /Rooney, i could bring in Suarez, and VDV for SWP,
i would take 4 point hit.

So, Who for chop? Rooney or RVP??

    Any advice please.

You know, this week is about two groups of people:

Those who want Suarez/VDV/Gerrard to chase fixtures

      and

Those who are happy with what they have got (Roonpig/RVP/Silva/Mata/Nani ) because they trust the form

I'm in the second group, so guess what? Sit tight with what you've got.

RVP on the way up with good fixtures (except GW 10) for a few months.

I'd look at upgrading Ferguson as you have so man Manchester players threatened by rotation meaning your bench will have to play over coming 6 - 8 gameweeks (not considering injuries of course).

Hi Weaver, i had a similar dilemma with shipping RVP out as i had no Chelsea attacking cover, it allowed me to bring in Sturridge and Lampard for what i think is a better fixture.
Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea certainly have very favourable fixtures this weekend and could be big scores on the cards....it's a tough one with RVP, Stoke may fall apart after playing in Europe, but Arsenal still don't seem to be scoring many imo.

Boyata's a player with a lot of potential and a year at the Bolton Finishing School will stand him in good stead for the future. Unfortunately they don't keep any clean sheets and rotate best with Wigan, Newcastle,QPR and Blackburn. Don't see any of them keeping many clean sheets either, more's the pity.

Thing is those bottom teams always pull it right sometime towards the end of the season. Would be nice to get a little CS run from on of their defenders.

In that case I'd say Jones. Add Vidic and Ferdinand into that backline and Utd's cleansheet count should rise. Chelsea can't keep a CS to save themselves (and that's coming from a Bos owner).

I see your predicament.. based on the games they have played so far I would say bosingwa has proved to be more consistent, jones is still new and will have ups and downs in my personal opinion anyway.. Chelsea also have some tough games ahead though so it's difficult to say..

Bosingwa long term, Jones is much more likely to get rotated.

Is he though? I would have thought his versatility would make him safer in the team if anything.

    Hi guys,

    Would you recommend
    1. Getting rid of A.Young for Lampard, VDV, Gerrard or Nani
    2. Getting rid of Moses for Ramires, Ramsey or Bannan
    3. Neither of the above?

    Thanks!

Give Moses the punt, time to cut your losses. I'd go Ramsey from those options.

I think Moses is the weak link and Ramsey could do well but A.Young hasn't done anything for ages and VDV may go mental against Blackburn?

Move Young out by all means, but Moses is a greater priority IMO.

Seeing you don't have Rooney, it's tricky. Young out would be my plan. You cover all the other teams except Nani & Gerrard. Good luck.

If I went Young out would VDV be the best to get in out of him, Nani, Gerrard and Lampard?

You have Adebayor, most people here wouldn't have both. No Liverpool may hurt but I think Suarez over Gerrard easy. Sturridge covers Chelsea enough & Nani is a tricky one.

Maybe Moses to Ramsey this week and do A.Young to Nani at a later date if he keeps outscoring Young?

Thanks for all the advice guys! I need to ponder some more, will probably do Moses out this week and Young out very soon after he does nothing the next 1-2 gamesweeks

      You know what, Torres magic?

I'm keeping Taarabt now. Loads of people have transferred him out, which is usually good time for a player to come good after disappointing start, fantasy wise.

Reckon he will be playing with a chip on his shoulder against Spurs too.

      Someone with A.Cole, a rarity.
Not a Ramires fan myself, rather get Ramsey as you have no Arsenal. Not looking the mids to tell you the truth outside Silva.
