Eyes will be on glued on any reports coming out of Manchester as the derby edges closer. The good news for Roberto Mancini, Alex Ferguson and Fantasy managers is that both squads are almost fully-fit…

Elsewhere, there’s been no real headline-grabbing stories. Ramires, who has been catching the attention of many a Fantasy Manager, is touch and go for the show-down with Stoke. Connor Wickham looks set to get his first start up front for Sunderland as they take on Bolton. Whilst Arsene Wenger is without a fit right-back against Stoke.

Team News will continue to be updated until tomorrow’s deadline, so keep checking back for all the latest. Our Twitter feed churn out all the up-to-the-minute injury reports and club news.

johnfinlay John swears he'll deliver unbiased Fantasy Premier League tips and news...until Leeds get promoted.

Mac - I have Given and Vorm at the moment, they have done me well so far despite poor rotation, but for the next 7 they have:
WBA, BOL, NOR, tot/MUN, AVL, bla, FUL
Bad clash at GW12 but other than that I fancy there chances

Cheers for the reply JOA. Kenny and Vorm have done pretty well so far however I just don't see any cleanies in Kennys future. Do you reckon I should take a hit to replace Kenny this week? Going to have to be a hit at some point and Wigan at home offers a good a chance as any to repay the points.

Welcome to my team Mr Gerrard, goodbye Mr Brunt. I resisted getting in VDV for now.

    Hennessey
    Simpson, Warnock, Kompany,
    Gerrard, Mata, Silva, Henry
    RVP (c), Sturridge, Suarez

    (Vorm, Dyer, Brown, Tierney)

    ...........Karl Henry, I know, I know...hoping 3pts for a clean sheet & 1bp.

Good luck to all this w/e I'm off with wifey and kids for a couple of days.

Good to see someone else has their thinking head on, All i've been hearing is that Stoke are poor after europa games and RVP is a cert to score plenty this weekend. Talking after a really hard game in Ukraine last time out and the 8 hours of flying etc. This time Pulis rested Crouchy Delap & Walters and he has a short trip along the motorway to play a weak Arsenal team, Not gonna be easy at all.

Rested for what? Europe...oh wait. Internationals?, not for a few weeks. Bellamy and Carroll played in their friendly against Rangers midweek - which they lost.

Stoke have a good defence and played at home in Europe - not away in Ukraine or Turkey. They went 3-0 up in 30mins and the game petered out...they won't concede 3 goals at Emirates, only 1 or 2 and Arsenal look toothless - Arteta, Walcott, Arshavin, Gervinho no final ball, only Ramsey and RVP look threatening.

Depends when you got him. If I got rid of him it would cost me .8m to get him back. He'll probably go up even more if he can assist or score this weekend. No way is he leaving my team. But if you got him when he was say 6.1 and you only lose a bit then maybe there could be better options Enrique for now. I still think even at 6.3m its great value for a chelsea defender who is also a quasi- winger.

aye good thanks. Attila, do you have Silva in your team at the moment ? If so, do you intend leaving him there ?

            my thinking is,

            United tomorrow (tough game)
Wolves next week (possibly rested for Villareal away)
QPR away (should play, relatively easy game)
Newcastle home (hardest game of the season πŸ˜‰ and possibly rested for Napoli)
            the Liverpool, Norwich, Chelsea, Arsenal.

I see much better value in VDV short term. not registered for european games and has some nice fixtures. What do you think ?

Yeah I think you make a good point there. Leaving him this week as I want two freebies the following. Not sure who's going then, but you do make a good point about Silva. How are you set up for this GW, I'm going with

                Silva Lampard (C) Nani Petrov

                Rvp Sturridge Wellbeck

Ive taken a 4 point hit this week. I'm thinking of another 4 doing Silva to VDV as well and just biting the bullet. Silvas avg points have gone from approx 7.5 in the first 4 games to 4.5 in the last 4. I think as well as euro rotation that Nasri will nick the odd bp's off him as well now.

I`m in an 18 team mini league. 5th and trailing the leader by only 22 points. Everyone except me and the guy in fourth has either Rooney or Aguero or both.

My current front line is RVP, Ade and Suarez.

The question is should I avoid getting Rooney or Aguero until I`m top or is it too much of a risk as I could lose too much ground by having neither?

*should add I`m sticking with what I`ve got this week, I`m talking about next week and beyond.

In a similar position to you, having the same front line and rivals all having either Rooney or Aguero.

My current thinking is to do RVP > Aguero next week, then see how things are looking form wise. I have a feeling Rooney could explode again GW11 onwards and would be worried about not having him, depends if you have any Utd. midfielders I guess...

I`ve confused myself on this and wasn`t sure if my logic was flawed. Rooney from gameweek 11 feels right. Thanks for replies.

    G'day gents.

Bolton (SUN) or Spurs (bla) for a clean sheet this weekend??...

Also, Europa League was a tad interesting last night, what with Dembélé's ridiculous red card, that belting Celtic own-goal, and the Maccabi player kicking his boot at the linesman...

Reading the Spurs forum, comments left-right and centre about how terrible Defoe was last night πŸ˜€
I thought he was pretty poor too, but was thinking maybe it was because I just don't like him mixed with the fact that I have VdV..good to see Spurs fans saw it the same way!

Redknapp would be mad to play Defoe if it means VDV is out of position or rotated. VDV didn't move to a middle of the road team like Tottenham to not play

A lot of Spurs fans are starting to think that the team is better without VDV in it as he is too selfish and a lot of their moves break down when it comes to him.

I don't see him being rested much at all, his time for rest was suppose to be at the start of the season, but that was only GW2 when he came on and scored anyways.
Carroll and Bellamy played against Rangers midweek, Suarez didn't even travel, so he won't be rested this week.
The fact that he is also 10 times better than Carroll plays a minor part in it too πŸ˜‰

Personally I don't think either will be rested....why would they be? Suarez is Liverpools danger man and are in hardly a good enough position to do so. As for Nani he loves playing against city...he'll start I reckon!

If you are looking for a captain out of those two....suarez all the way.

Thinking of bringing in VDV and Ba for Dyer and Aguero - thinking it would improve the balance of my team. Bit nervous about ditching Aguero though with Wolves (H) coming up...

    Current team is

    Given (Vorm)
    Enrique Simpson Bosingwa (Lescott Wilkinson)
    Dyer Moses Silva Young (Ferguson)
    Aguero Suarez RVP (c)

    Any thoughts?
