Coming down from the highs of cheering captain Luis Suarez in person to a magnificent two point tally will be hard to do, but, this Sunday, the Dugout Discussion has come good with all sorts of tasty fixtures that will soon cleanse any palette…

There are three early kick-offs at 1:30pm today as we keep track of some top ties – the Manchester derby chief amongst them. All the following line-ups are sourced from the Premier League (@premierleague).

Fergie has named the same back-line as which drew at Liverpool while recalling Anderson, Nani and Wayne Rooney to his starting line-up. Roberto Mancini has kept the faith with Mario Balotelli while he can also call on a fit again Sergio Aguero. Teams in full are…

United XI: De Gea, Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, Smalling, Fletcher, Anderson, Nani, Young, Rooney, Welbeck.

City XI: Hart, Richards, Clichy, Lescott, Kompany, Milner, Barry, Yaya Toure, Silva, Aguero, Balotelli.

Arsene Wenger said he’ll have to rest Robin Van Persie eventually – he has now. Opting instead for the brute force of Marouanne Chamakh against Stoke. Captain Ryan Shawcross will likely find himself up against Aaron Ramsey at some point today. Teams in full are…

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Mertesacker, Santos, Koscielny, Djourou, Arteta, Song, Walcott, Ramsey, Gervinho, Chamakh.

Stoke XI: Begovic, Shawcross, Wilkinson, Upson, Whelan, Etherington, Wilson, Delap, Whitehead, Crouch, Walters.

Fulham make a widespread amount of changes from their midweek European team while David Moyes gives loan signing Royston Drenthe his first start as well as super sub Apostolos Vellios. Teams in full are…

Fulham XI: Schwarzer, Baird, Riise, Hangeland, Grygera, Murphy, Sidwell, Dempsey. Dembele, Johnson, Zamora.

Everton XI: Howard, Distin, Baines, Hibbert, Jagielka, Neville, Fellaini, Rodwell, Osman, Drenthe, Vellios.

As these games either enter the dying embers or reach a heady climax the fourth game of the day will kick off as Harry Redknapp tries to keep on pressing up the table with a trip to Ewood Park. QPR playing host to Chelsea will then round out the gameweek on all good television screens.

A whole host of opportunities today with a wide array of fixtures and top teams to savour in the Dugout Discussion. Here’s hoping the stars can live up to their billing.

A busy day on the suspension tightrope sees further players graduate to bans, only to be replaced almost immediately with fresh faces ready to test their own balancing skills.

For the definitive, keep up to date with the actual bans on the relevant FFS page, but for those too lazy, here's my run down:

Reds for Johnny Evans and Jose Bosingwa will result in 1 match bans to be served in the midweek carling cup games. Joining them in sitting out those games will be Ashley Cole and Stephen N'Zonzi who have accumulated the required 5 yellows. No FPL games missed for that quartet then.
Violent conduct red cards result in a 3 match ban, so no such luck for Didier Drogba or Chris Herd, though Drogba will only miss 2 FPL weeks as a result of the cup game and watch the FFS newsfeed for news of an expected appeal on the Herd ban.

New faces to the tightrope include a couple of faces from 'the battle of Loftus Road', Frank Lampard and John Terry, who now sit 1 yellow from a ban. The other names with this Damoclesian fate are Steve Sidwell and Richard Stearman, joining Seb Larsson and Gary Caldwell who've managed to escape this week.

didnt see him today, but at home he has done really well, so with 3/4 of their next games at home, hopefully he stays. With Woodgate, Higginbotham and Huth there must be competition for the place.

So I binned Dzeko for Sturridge, which is annoying, obv.

But he was such a rotation risk, I can't afford to have him long-term (the rest of my team arent good enough to carry him). I'm not clued up enough to predict when players like Balo and Dzeko are going to play. It's a shame

Q: If, like me you have had an awful start and are sitting 100's of thousands down the rankings, what;s the plan? Keep chipping away at it with sensible selections? Or go balls out with some outrageous diffos and make the ground up?

I'll stop now, before I start crying...

In all fairness with all the information you had available to you, you made a sensible and the right transfer which i assume lots of people did...personally i dropped him for RVP and i got a tad luckier obviously. Thats just it you need to continue to make the same desicions and just hope to get a ittle lucky. Take the bad with the good and know that you will have many weeks that will be the reverse of this
