The EA Sports Player Performance Index scores are now available, with the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points now added to the game. Once again, there are a few rather surprising benefactors. Here’s how they breakdown…

    I'm a bit afraid of having no Tottenham coverage over the next few GWs, but I cannot work out a proper strategy to get in VDV. I could do Suarez>Ade, but then Suarez is as likely to get massive points. so that's more of a sideway move. Any suggestions?

      You have good players, To bring in the 2 Spurs players you would need to lose quality elsewhere.

      If I were you I`d use my freebie to get shot of De Laet and keep the other transfer. 2 non playing defenders could hurt you quicker than you think.

        Nope, no United coverage at the moment, Nani is definately coming in at some point.

      Suarez is just shockingly bad at times in front of goal. I mentioned in our podcast I was unsure about him because he lacks the finish, but I still got him. Kicking myself a little bit, but really it's not just about bad luck you know.

      Jonathan Woodgate has played 156 league games in the last 10 years.

      He has currently played 6 this season. Based on the past years, he is due to play another 9 this season.

    All,

    I have the following team:

    Krul/Ruddy
    Bos/Kompany/Enrique/Simpson/Orr
    Silva/Mata/Ramsey/Dyer/Moses
    Aguero/Rooney/Suarez

    My understanding is that Bos will only get a 1 match suspension and I guess this will be served during the Carling Cup on Wednesday?

    Would welcome thoughts on the following regardless of above:
    Bos to Shawcross
    Mata to VDV

    Then the following weeks remove Moses and Orr.

    Any thoughts, thanks.

      Why get rid of Nani for a 4 point hit?
      He wont score every week obviously, and the more he scores 2 points, the closer he is to exploding.
      I think he is still quality and a brilliant FPL pick.

          Adebayor and VDV have played 5 games together and average just over 16 points per game.

      good price for a top 6 (top4?) defender. the news on king's injury is as mysterious and not helpful as ever which is the only worry i'd have over the tottenham defence, fixtures may outweigh king's absence however

    I cant believe milner is getting more game time than nasri

    Samir could have easily set up the goals yesterday as milner and adds more to the city team.

    + he got a goal and 2 assist a few weeks back in 1 game and mancini then rotates him in next 2 matches

    I am assuming that Rooney will start against Everton, or will he? Thanks in advance for insight on this.

    I can get in VDV if I take out Rooney, but I don't want to. UTDs fixtures now are ridiculous. I just need FPL to give me more money. That is all.

      had the exact same dilemma, whats your defence like? Maybe downgrade that so you can afford VDV. Cos i agree, not having united players such as Rooney can be potentially disastrous for the next ten weeks

      I've got RVP and ROoney and if I have to get Aguero in it would probably be for Rooney right now. I wouldn't get rid of RVP, unless Aguero is a big differential for you

    Want to do Nani to VDV before his price rise. However, that leaves me with only Rooney as Utd coverage and I know that with the CL game midweek and him playing at Everton, SAF might just 'rest' him.

    VDV would be my captain and Silva is my only other candidate.

    Just something on technicality...

    Brunt's PK miss against Given over the weekend.. Shouldn't Given be awarded pts for penalty save? Now I understand he didn't physically make contact with the ball hence Brunt 'missed' more than Given 'saved'.. but it was Given's goalkeeping presence between the sticks that played psychologically on Brunt.

    Not expecting a game rule overhaul of course.. just food for thought.. 😉

      gargamel agrees with you, personally i don't. i think getting 5 points, and possibly another 4 for maintaining your clean sheet is too much reward for the opponent screwing up. i think psychology is minimal, it's only the penalty taker v his own mind imo.
