    I've never seen such constant attempts to obstruct the goalkeeper as Stoke were trying to do tonight with Krul. Pretty ridiculous at times.

    Advice on what to do this week please

    Team is

    Given, Vorm

    Kompany, Shawx, Bosingwa, N. Taylor, Simpson

    Silva, Mata, Cabaye, Petrov, Johnson

    Aguero, Adebayor, Suarez

    Was going to transfer out bosingwa but not sure now that kompany and shawx will miss next week

    I have 2.8 in the bank to upgrade somewhere

      You have the same goal keeper combination as me.. but GW 12-14 the rotation is very bad. I'm trying to find a way to bring in Begovic for Given, you could do the same. Also, Bos > Walker is also a suggestion for a cheaper alternative. Also Cabaye's fixtures are not that great, maybe Ramsey instead?

      I recommend that you do Rooney to RVP to catch his good run of form and you would still keep United coverage through Nani.

    I've been pondering on my transfers since Saturday and feel happiest with the following
    Sturridge,Young & Bosingwa to RvP, Ramirez & (prob) Taylor(swan).
    My question is :- I do it now I have .2m in bank
    If I wait till after Arse and Chel play I'll miss rise of RvP and fall of Young and have nought but at least know if both are fit.
    Might sound like a dumb Q but I don't usually do early transfers when there's midweek games on.
    Any thoughts?

        Ah, that's the conundrum. It's for a 4 pt hit (my first of season). Rvp is the essential for doing the transfer. I can do Rvp and 5.3m midfielder for no hit, so Ramirez isn't the nailed on choice (doubts).

            Considered(ing) both Doosra ,just not 100% sold on either for different reasons.Rodders could be about to start on a run but not sure he's nailed on, similiar with Cleverly plus the injury worry.I wanted to get Ramirez before he started on his run as I thought he was looking the part so I'm still try to figue if I'm getting him because I was miffed I didn't.

              Cheers guys. I reckon Sturridge may not start at Blackburn and Dzeko and has been my pre-season so i'm sticking with him a tad longer.I'm also doubting have a 6m defender in a team struggling to keep a clean sheet. Most teams are struggling to keep cs's I know.

      I did an early trade this week to beat rvp rise as waiting would have meant missing him. Out went Bos and Suarez(a week early) and in came Shawcross and RVP. Happy to take my chances with rvp but did not really want to part with Bos. If you really really want rvp then do it. Otherwise just take care of Young.

          massive PPI for ba surely. no shots off target, he even threw a block in there. best 2 shots off target, none on, obertan 1 shot off target none on. whatever else gets you points someone else will need a bit to beat walters' goal. although looking at holt's and sincalir's ppi i wonder if penalties are weighted as highly as other goals?

        Should also mention that I don't have any of them, so prices would be:

        Silva + Rooney = 22.5 ish
        Nani + Aguero = 21.5 ish

        So if it's a close call then maybe just go for the cheaper option? I could handle going without Silva if I've got Aguero.

    My thinking is quality midfield + RVP and then rotate Hoilett and Danny Graham depending on fixtures both nailed on so no real rotation issues so both could play in a 3-4-3 if any of my big hitters are rested or rotated.

                His movement, touch and work rate were all second to none during that ten minutes. People think he's an industrious un-creative player just because he plays for Stoke. Plus Trap doesn't appear to be that big a fan of Shlong, Cox, Keane and Doyle have all started ahead of him and Walters is first sub.

    Need RVP, I have 3.6 in bank. Looking at a -4 for RVP and a 5.8M defender in for Bosingwa and Adebayor.
    Shawcross is injured so I will do De Laet to Wilkinson in due course.

    So I have narrowed it down to

    Walker or BAE?

    Thoughts, is Walker worth the extra 0.5 considering I have De Laet and Cabaye to remove in coming weeks?

      How much do you need to get RVP?
      Bosingwa may well pick up some points against Blackburn.

      Kompany out is also an option...

      i personally feel BAE is just as effective as Walker, ok Walker seems to bolster up into the half in an almost charge like way, but BAE can whip in assists a lot of the time, and he was lined up to take a nice free kick on sunday, maybe a taker now from the right hand side i dunno. BAE for me though, and bank the 0.5 🙂

    a) Save the free transfer and ship Given/Dunne out for free next week.
    b) Sinclair -> Walters this week and do Given -> Begovic next week (benching Dunne & Simpson in defence next week). Would mean tripling on Stoke defenders for QPR & BLA, which is a gamble, but could pay off...
