One more gameweek before the doctor orders us all to bed for two weeks of International Break recovery – the Saturday Surgery is back with just minutes until the lockdown on our Fantasy squads…

The Scout Selection committee couldn’t help but go expensive with our Scout Picks this week, there’s just so many tempting fixtures to choose from for all of the “top” sides. Big Dunc is all about goals, goals, goals with his striker laden batch of Differentials this week with more fancied players like Aaron Ramsey and David De Gea on the Watchlist.

Our members have had Sir Paulos and Mark give Luis Nani and the Budget Strikers a bit of deeper thought while everyone else ponders on who to captain. No debate there, it seems, with Robin Van Persie having walked away with our poll.

There’s even less time now you’ve read all that but, hopefully, Fantasy Managers can use these final minutes in the Saturday Surgery to iron out any final kinks – heaven knows having a good week this time round could prove to be very timely.

The scout picks this year are bizarre, 4 strikers? Also that team is surely over budget.

Ya just seems a pick of what they think will be the best performing players for the week not a possible team. Bit silly preferred the old with the same constraints we all have

Think it sneaks under the budget, which is around £103m for most people these days.

But four strikers is having a laugh...

they're always the same players. why don't they pick some underrated ones? enrique, mata, RVP, VDV are always in it. boring! zzzzz

Exactly the same with my league.

I was certain everyone would hop on board, but everyone has Roon/Aguero still, so hoping for a quiet week from them.

im really liking fpl this year. there are a lot of varied teams in my league. theres a lot of good strikers to choose from as well so not many have RVP :), Lamps is starting to shine in midfield, vdv, silva etc. It has been far too predictable in previous years - my thought for the day, im done now..

I am not sure this Vorm/Ruddy combo was a good idea. Any ideas for improvement?

I have Vorm/ Hennessey. They rotate well but Wolves simply don't do cleansheets

I've got the same and I'd love to get rid of Hennessey. On saying that, I played him this week so fingers crossed!

I am thinking of downgrading Given to Ruddy:

      1. Not a good combo but maximises value available elsewhere and it is the combination of who else you can get and the cheap keeper that may give an advantage;

      2. Not a great differential in points from keepers(even by sticking with Vorm).

Overall therefore I still think it's a reasonable strategy-you can always change it in wildcard window if not working.

This almost mirrors my sentiments when I did Given ➡ Ruddy myself.

See you one month from now, asking who to get in for Ruddy 😉

Seriously though, Krul might be worth the extra 0.6... might

its just bad for the next couple. Vorm's potential gets better after that.

Logic rarely prevails in FPL - I'd wait until the GW is up to pass judgement.

In theory this should be a high-scoring GW for anyone with a good selection of the big-hitters but we shall see...

So far I've done well in weeks where I havent taken a hit, so hopefully I can gather a nice haul of points this week. Strangely, I've been disappointed before...

    Me (My main rival)

Bricking it! What I wouldn't give to swap teams!

    Krul (Krul)
Enrique, BAE, Raylor (Enrique, Evans, Wilkinson)
Silva, Ramsey, Song, Modric (Silva, Nani, VDV, Walters)
Rooney, Suarez, RVP (Rooney, Sturidge, RVP)

      So it's

BAE, Raylor, Ramsey, Song (?!), Modric, Suarez

      versus

Evans, Wilkinson, Nani, VDV, Walters, Sturridge

If United concede, Nani starts on the bench and Suarez has the game he's been threatening to have... you're laughing.

Dont know what to do with this team anymore

    Given Ruddy
    Kompany Enrique Bosingwa Simpson Brown
    VDV Nani Sinclair Moses Ramsey
    Aguero Suarez Sturridge

    My GKs are shit

    Bosingwa finally dropped by AVB
My only good midfielder is VDV
    Suarez and Sturridge look average

I'm thinking of doing Bosingwa for Richards or Jones.
