The final batch of Premier League fixtures before another international break, has three games closing out Gameweek 11. Not the biggest box office attractions on offer today it has to be said, but the Dugout Discussion is open for business regardless.

We start at Molineux with a tussle between two sides with the worst current form in the league, as Wolves play host to Wigan. With just a solitary point between them in their last six games, it’s no surprise to see them threatening the wrong end of the table. Here is the team news for the game that already qualifies for “six-pointer” status…

Wolves XI: Hennessey, Stearman, Johnson, Berra, Ward, Edwards, Henry, Guedioura, Hunt, O’Hara, Doyle.

Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Boyce, Gohouri, Figueroa, Alcaraz, Watson, Moses, Diame, Jones, Di Santo, Rodallega.

Mick McCarthy names an unchanged eleven from their trip the Etihad Stadium, whilst Roberto Martinez makes two changes from the side that lost to Fulham last week. Gary Caldwell is suspended so Steve Gohouri starts, and Franco Di Santo is preferred to Albert Crusat.

Then it’s down the M1 to Craven Cottage for a London derby between Fulham and Tottenham and, not televised, there’s a rematch of the 2011 FA Cup semi-final between Bolton and Stoke City going on.

Keep track of all the action as it happens in our Dugout Discussion chatroom.

What to do, what to do!

I guess the Rooney situation has all owners thinking about replacing him. First it’s family problems affecting his mental state, the sending off for England, his omission from the United team against Liverpool, being deployed as a holding midfeilder and now the omission from the England squad.

Even with a decent run of fixtures I can’t be having a 12 mill holding midfeilder in my squad, I may as well have Mikel knowing fergie he’ll deploy him as a striker the moment I transfer him out. I have been patient, but now it’s being stretched.

What am I to do….ideas anyone?

Get him in when he gets back up front
One missed haul will be ok.
Though he is still on pens

So ManUtd back in for Schneider in jan when Inter sign Tevez??

Omission from the England quad is a non-event for me as far as negatively impacting his FF prospects in fairness. In fact, it actually improves them due to lowered risk of injury over the two weeks.

I doubt we'll see Rooney CM again any time soon - Cleverley and Anderson will be back, Hernandez and Welbeck aren't too good as a partnership (not enough creativity).

He was man of the match by a long stretch v Sunderland.

Saying that, I sold him 3 weeks ago and can't say I've regretted it, but he'll come good.
