A run of three home matches in the next four gameweeks elevates Scott Sinclair in our recently updated Watchlist rankings. The winger, priced at 6.2, has been one of the main beneficiaries of Swansea’s outstanding record at the Liberty Stadium and with 50 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points to date, is second only to Michel Vorm (55) amongst the options in Brendan Rodgers’ squad.

With the Swans conceding just once in front of their own fans, Sinclair’s classification as a FPL midfielder has helped boost his points, with clean sheets bumping up his returns four times out of five in the first eleven gameweeks.

His penalty duties have also been essential to Sinclair’s Fantasy prospects- despite having failed to find the net from open play this season, he has scored in the last three home games in succession from the spot. As a result, he has returned 36 points from five Liberty Stadium games- an average of 7.2 per game.

Compare this to his 14 points from six away visits- an average of just over 2.3 per game; the difference of almost 5 points in home/away Fantasy returns is indicative of Swansea’s contrasting fortunes and highlights just why their home performances will be so critical to their top-flight survival.

Up next, then, is (MUN, AVL, bla, FUL). While the visit of Man United will provide the stiffest test of their home form to date, Rodgers’ side will stick to the passing principles that saw them pick up a draw and clapped off the field for their display at Anfield last time round.

Home showdowns with Aston Villa and Fulham will certainly hold no fear either; the former have yet to win on the road, while Fulham’s only away victory came at off-form Wigan. If anything, Swansea will go into both clashes as favourites. Sandwiched in between is the trip to Blackburn- it’s fair to say that with the Venky’s owners still firmly behind Steve Kean, Rovers are a possible source of points for any team right now and Sinclair -fully recovered from the hamstring problem that restricted his role to that of a sub at Liverpool last time out- will fancy his chances of breaking that barren run on the road come gameweek fourteen at Ewood Park.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    Which transfer to make this week?

    Suarez -> Hernandez

    or

    Agbonlahor -> Bendtner

    or

    Sturridge -> Bendtner

    Agbonlahor transfer saves me losing .1

    Repost: Sessegnon, Rodwell or Drenthe for a 4 point hit? I’m thinking Sess, right? And what do you think about Sturridge? If he is not fit I think I’ll have to take an 8 point hit as my subs are Raylor, Reo Coker and De Laet.

    This Cleverley news is awful, he's not the second coming of Scholes but he's handy and you'd miss him in midfield. Terrible news considering the Christmas fixture list and our lack of depth/quality in midfield.

    Expect to see Rooney play quite a bit there now.

          Bench Wilkinson & Raylor I reckon - Wilkinson first defensive sub incase Evans doesn't play.

          Then bench Allen / Dyer ... probably Allen

      Watch out for evans, he's only going to play when you least expect him to and he's on your bench, i'd ship him out with that FT.

      Though you could play Komany, Wilkinson, Walker this week, Bench Vorm, Evans, RTaylor, Dyer/Allen.

      Then sort out evans next week

    Three itchy boils on my teams bum. Cleverley and Tiote both injured, and Saurez just plain annoying....

    One tranny left this week as already got out of Bos for Enrique, so does Clev to Drenthe or Rodders make sense? And which one? Drenthe only leaves me 0.1m spare leeway to do Tiote/Suarez out for Silva/Morison in next few weeks and go 3-5-2?

    My front line will then be Silva/Bale/Sinclair/Ramsey/Drenthe/Rooney/RVP with Morison/Naylor/Simpson subs which I'll be pretty happy with. 🙂

    Sound like a plan Stan?

      Boils, Bums, Trannies and your name is Shirtless. What is the cause of this depravity?

      Bos > Enrique was pretty shortsighted. I would have got someone else in there instead. Clev > Drenthe sounds feasible though.

      No point relying on or discussing that double transfer next week. Plans will change.

        Bos> Enrique done early to avoid price drops/rises, Bos sold at 6.3, Enrique in at 5.6, so I'm now 0.2 better off and can't see any better player than Enrique as I have Kompany and Shawcross too.

        Think I'm going to put Drenthe in and hope Silva doesn't fly up in value anytime soon. 0.1 leeway so I could do the pair next week and take my first 4 pointer...

    Save the transfer, question is if you play Johnson or Dyer. Norwich more likely to score, but Dyer seems a bigger threat as he plays further up the pitch..

      I think so. Can't see AVB not playing Torres against Liverpool so that means Drogba is unlikely to start. No Malouda either reduces his options in front 3 so think he's safe enough

    Off topic repost from earlier this week:

    I’m still hanging on in a €5000 Last Man Standing competition (pick a winner each week, each team can only be picked once) after 11 weeks, and could use your advice (thanks to all who voted correctly for Swansea and Newcastle recently).

    Which team is most likely to win out of any of these six (I’ve disregarded Norwich, Wolves and QPR this GW): Sunderland vs. Fulham, West Brom vs. Bolton and Wigan vs. Blackburn?

      Sunderland IMO. Fulham are poor away and Sunderland best at home

      Oooof, tricky! None of them really stand out as banker wins. I'd probably go with Sunderland though.

      How many people left in it?

        114 left out of 9285 entrants. Leaning towards Sunderland despite West Brom's slightly better odds.

    Any Everton fans know how secure Hibbert's place is?

      I'm not a fan, but he's played every game since GW4. Seems as secure as you get to me. They do say if he ever scores, it will be an omen for the end of the world.

        Thanks. Do you think Jags is worth the extra money? I can afford it.

          If it's between Jags and Hibbert I'd go Jags. But must be other defenders you could get?

            An Everton defender complete a rotation and fixture perfect 5 defenders until the Jan WC for me. Reckon I'll go for Jag, don't need to play him this weekend anyway. Thanks for your help!
