A run of three home matches in the next four gameweeks elevates Scott Sinclair in our recently updated Watchlist rankings. The winger, priced at 6.2, has been one of the main beneficiaries of Swansea’s outstanding record at the Liberty Stadium and with 50 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points to date, is second only to Michel Vorm (55) amongst the options in Brendan Rodgers’ squad.

With the Swans conceding just once in front of their own fans, Sinclair’s classification as a FPL midfielder has helped boost his points, with clean sheets bumping up his returns four times out of five in the first eleven gameweeks.

His penalty duties have also been essential to Sinclair’s Fantasy prospects- despite having failed to find the net from open play this season, he has scored in the last three home games in succession from the spot. As a result, he has returned 36 points from five Liberty Stadium games- an average of 7.2 per game.

Compare this to his 14 points from six away visits- an average of just over 2.3 per game; the difference of almost 5 points in home/away Fantasy returns is indicative of Swansea’s contrasting fortunes and highlights just why their home performances will be so critical to their top-flight survival.

Up next, then, is (MUN, AVL, bla, FUL). While the visit of Man United will provide the stiffest test of their home form to date, Rodgers’ side will stick to the passing principles that saw them pick up a draw and clapped off the field for their display at Anfield last time round.

Home showdowns with Aston Villa and Fulham will certainly hold no fear either; the former have yet to win on the road, while Fulham’s only away victory came at off-form Wigan. If anything, Swansea will go into both clashes as favourites. Sandwiched in between is the trip to Blackburn- it’s fair to say that with the Venky’s owners still firmly behind Steve Kean, Rovers are a possible source of points for any team right now and Sinclair -fully recovered from the hamstring problem that restricted his role to that of a sub at Liverpool last time out- will fancy his chances of breaking that barren run on the road come gameweek fourteen at Ewood Park.

Yeah, a defensive midfielder in a low scoring team, and an out of form striker who's playing in midfield is a great combo. Rodwell wont be playing Wolves every week, good though he is.

I'd be very very surprised to see Mata benched. Dyer will play. I suspect Silva will as well.

Nani could be benched, but again I'd be surprised. VDV is the only genuine concern.

completely different positions, plus Cahill's head provides something extra for Drenthe to aim at. A fit Cahill should equal more Drenthe pts.

is Coleman , Rodwell, Fellaini or Osman gonna be dropped???,,,,doubt it,,,that means it's a toss up between saha and drenthe if Cahill plays,,,,v.possible reduced game time for drenthe but worth a gamble IMO.

    Back 5 is:
Bosingwa (5.8), De Laet (4.0), Orr, Simpson, Enrique.

Priority has to be Bosingwa and De Laet out. One of the replacements will be on the bench.

    So options:
    1) De Laet > McCauley/Wilkinson/Brown then after transfer deadline but on Saturday Bosingwa > Vorm (to avoid 0.1 loss)
    2) Just De Laet > McCauley/Wilko/Brown and take 0.1 hit on Bosingwa after all he might still play
    3) Bosingwa > Verm as Verm on form and De Laet / Orr bench fodder anyway.

    Team is

    Vorm ( Given )
Enrique Walker ShawX ( Simpson Shorey )
Mata Silva VDV Rodwell ( Dyer )
    Suarez Sturridge RVP (C)

1 FT – no cash in the bank

A Given to Westwood – bench Vorm – need to get rid of Given anyhow
B Shorey to Turner – bench Enrique
C Shorey to McCauley – Bench Enrique
D Suarez to Adebayour – play defence as they are
E Suarez to Bendy – again play defence as they are

    Opinions Very Welcome.

    Current Team:

    Vorm
    Brown, Jones, Jose Enrique, Ward
    Van der Vaart, Walters, Silva
    Aguero, Sturridge, Van Persie

    Subs: Given, Petrov, Dyer, Simpson

Not really loving the 4-3-4 but can't see either Petrov of Dyer doing anything special this week.

    Possible options:

    A) Petrov > Drenthe (Petrov out of favour/form, Drenthe in form) - 4pt hit
    B) Sturridge > Bentner (Sturridge didn't train on Friday + not in best form, Bendy scoring a few recently and good fixtures) - 4 point hit
    C) Leave as is

    What do people think?

Assuming it's M Petrov, I'd probably do that one, but Drenthe is definitely a punt.
      Bendy, I'm unconvinced by.
Plus, 'Good fixtures' means teams similar to them, so are as likely to lose as win.
Sturridge, meanwhile, always has 'good fixtures', if you see what I mean.

Yes they have a couple of mystery injuries. I wouldn't pay much attention to the Guardian, they are just opinions.

Santon on right wing isn't too illogical, considering both Obertan and Marveaux are be out.

    Vorm
    Clichy – Shawcross – Jones
    Jarvis – Ramsey – VDV – Silva
    Ba – Rooney (C) – Adebayor

    Krul, Ward, Simpson, Larsson

Ramsey battling for points with team mates, Drenthe looks good but is a risk (he's only started 2 Premier League games), I'm leaning towards Sessegnon myself.

Two weeks is just too much mulling time. I'm now letting appearance affect my squad selection... Bringing in Sessegnon offers no variety next to red stripes of Walters and Wilkinson. Drenthe is the alternative.

        Who do you think?

I have no other Everton or Sunderland players.

        A) SESSEGNON?
        B) DRENTHE?

So who to replace Bosingwa with?
Another expensive DEF like Verm or Baines, or go with a cheap/mid like Brown,ShawX,Kompany

Current back line: Vorm/Given, Enrique, Simpson, De Laet, Orr, Bosingwa

So, I've managed thus far without RVP.
Suarez hasn't done it for me and I want to ditch Bosingwa.
Will Suarez finally explode? Can RVP keep up his run? Is there a defender out there worth getting to enable the RVP move? Is two weeks too long without FPL action?!
