We’ve got a mammoth eight games today to get us back into the swing of Premier League action today. We start the Dugout Discussion over in Norfolk as Paul Lambert and his band of merry men welcome Arsenal to Carrow Road…

Norwich make a couple of changes to the side that list at Villa Park before the international break with Andrew Crofts and David Fox coming in for Elliott Bennett and Grant Holt. Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, starts Laurent Koscielny at right-back with the rest of his side pretty much picking itself. Teams in full are…

Norwich XI:Ruddy; Naughton, Martin, Barnett, Tierney; Johnson, Crofts, Pilkington, Hoolahan (C), Fox; Morison.

Arsenal XI: Szczesny; Koscielny, Vermaelen, Mertesacker, Andre Santos; Song, Ramsey, Arteta; Walcott, Gervinho, Van Persie.

Then we’ll be with good old Jeff Stelling and Merse -or Gabby Logan and Garth Crooks for those less fortunate- to take in a big bite of Gameweek 12 action with 6 three o’clock kick offs to keep our eyes on.

Man City (who will lead the line this time?) hosting Newcastle, Sunderland (the travails of one Nicklas Bendtner) welcoming Fulham and Everton (all eyes on the Drenthe bandwagon) vying with Wolves are the pick of the bunch for most Fantasy Managers out there.

Swansea’s imperious home record will face it’s sternest test yet in the evening kick-off as Manchester United pay visit and close out our bumper Saturday of Dugout Discussion action.

      i like him and think fergie does too. i don't necessarily see why jones is any more nailed on than him (jones' centre mid option possibly in his favour). also smalling should fall to 5.2 any moment now so a full 1 mil cheaper than jones

      Missed a few sitters today apparently. Probably still the player with the most efforts on goal without scoring. I fear we've cursed him - I'm beginning to lose sleep about it now.

        At some point it's not bad luck (perhaps like Suarez - getting shots cleared off the line / hitting the post) and maybe it's just lacking a cutting edge in the final third. He's looked "lively" and quick but so have many wingers and he only has 2 goals in 46 premier league games. Those numbers just don't lie.

        2 goals - 46 Premier League games. Not on penalties or free kicks (Watson is I believe).

        Just look elsewhere.

    Two mistakes in my team, I played Brown and Vorm over Warnock and Al-Habsi 100% before the deadline but they didn't go through. FFS. But, my frontline of Hoilett Aguero RVP did me proud. 😀

          Either at RB, CB (if Ferdinand gets injured again which he will) or in a central midfield role (like he played at Blackburn and for England last week) I think he will start 80% of league games. Utility man unless major injuries occur, but how can you drop him in his form and confidence?

    I hate Casual Players.

    Person whose top in my work mini league captained Dzeko with.... You guessed it-Mr. Van Persie as their VC. No logic to their choice as they had both their Newcastle players playing as well.

    So Rooney is suddenly up front again, presumably playing in the hole behind Hernandez. But I thought it was understood SAF put him in mid to cover absences in midfield. Nothing's changed there! Those same names are absent and we have Park, Carrick and elderly Giggs in mid. What's the thinking?

    I am kinda happy I did not transfer out Ba and bring in Helgusson. I brought Ba at 6.1 and would lose too much now to buy him back. Ba was the best newcastle player today and even got a sneaky assist. He might even get a sneaky bonus? Ba looks much better value then Helgusson, despite two more difficult fixtures to go.
    Note* This assist would not have counted in ESPN fantasy soccer, because the ball touched the goalkeeper before the goal.

        Yeah I do have to do both to be able to afford Jones. Doing so gives me exactly enough cash.
