While the footballing community rightly reels from the frankly unfathomable and tragic news of Gary Speed’s passing, the Dugout Discussion opens in more solemn tones in shock at this news…

Our first of two fixtures today is in Wales where, rather perversely now, Speed had been seeming to build a bright future for football in his home country. Whether many of the Welsh players (on both sides) are in the right mind is hard to tell but the fixture of Swansea vs Aston Villa will go ahead as planned. Teams in full are…

  If it's in the box I think a yellow is enough. If it's outside and therefore just a free kick it should be red. Same goes for when the last defender brings down a player.

      i think he is the same player, simply ealry season he had two home games against swansea and wigan, arguably the 2 easiest fixtures of the season given how expansive and brave both of those sides are. norwich did very well stifling man utd and liverpool away from home but on paper i'd be astonished if man city don't stick at least 2 past them
