We’ll then move on to the only televised fixture of the day as Wolves play host to a Sunderland side looking to impress Martin O’Neill before he takes the reins. A game I can’t bear to watch having brought in Jamie O’Hara and made the laughably rookie mistake of then forgetting to start him.

Two sides with plenty to fight for after an equally poor last couple of months. The Dugout Discussion remains throughout.

    Anyone else watching the Everton-Stoke game? How was there no penalty there? Ref's having a bit of a 'mare in my opinion.

    Is it worth taking out Drenthe, BAE and bringing in Jones and a cheap mid for an 8 point hit? Have no Utd coverage at the moment and see more CS potential with them.

        It looks good. I think its worth keeping Drenthe and giving him a chance when he's fit. If you can afford Simpson to Jones, do it.

          Thanks but I cant afford Jones unless I take out Drenthe and at least I can keep BAE until the DGW. And thinking I'll play four defenders up until then and hope Utd keep getting CS points. Cant decide though....8 points is painful right now.

      Same Dilemna, > Rooney is my preferred move at the moment because I would most likely captain him next 2 GWs, he must surely get back in the goals soon and no matches more perfect than Wolves, plus he will play further forward now Hernandez is out as he and Wellbeck will take it in turns to drop deep! A goal midweek may help your decision?

      Wolves aren't great at home, they were poor against QPR and Swansea and even Wigan gave them a game. The crowd may get on their back quite soon as well.

      They're without captain Roger Johnson at he back, so I'd expect Sunderland to score. However, with Doyle and Fletcher back, Wolves may score as well.

    Any thoughts as to best midfielder for 6.5 or less? Any idea when Clev will return?

    Really want Nani but don't see much point in selling VDV to fund that - United's fixtures are utds but Spurs are in much better form.

      So little going on in MF, it's painful. I'm still not sure whether FPL have pulled a blinder or a stinker with the pricing policy.

      Larsson and Walters are out of reach. Gower? Looked at him for a while due to Allen and Dyer's rises. I am looking at playing 5-2-3. Seriously. He plays and frees up funds for defence and attack.

        Yeah, I'm wondering whether it's worth loading up on Defence. Might get Vermaelen in alongside Jones and Richards, those three can play every week - rotate Brown and Simpson.

        Might be able to stretch to Larsson or Walters - not completely convinced by either though tbh.

        Know exactly what you mean with your first sentence. I'm in exactly the same boat, it's nice to be challenged but I'm wondering whether they have made it a bit too loaded.

          Well, without wanting to give you my life history, I started with a heavy back 5 and then used the WC to go uber cheap at the back - I can't seem to get the balance right! I think a Utd and Vermaelen are the way to go for me with Naylor, Simpson and Brown rotating.

          Baines is expensive and at this rate, I can't see the 9 CSs of last season.
          Richards will gather very few CSs in the next few weeks with their form and fix.
          Enrique could struggle with the loss of Lucas.

          I think you're right to avoid Walters and Larsson. I think their time has gone.

    Pretty tight in my cup tie. I'm 6 points ahead but he has baines and shawcross currently playing with sessengnon and westwood to come. I've got enrique and larsson to come. Need everton to score and it not be baines. I'd have been fine if had of just played bloody krul over vorm ðŸ™

    With United's fixtures looking good over Xmas, I'm really wanting to bring one of their players in. Ideally maybe Ward OUT ---> Jones IN. But I'm 1.0 short for this move.
