Craven Cottage is the venue, as Fulham versus Liverpool wraps up Gameweek 14 on a bitterly cold Monday night. Braving the unpleasant conditions outside, the Dugout Discussion is open once more. Martin Jol and Kenny Dalglish have handed their team sheets in, and this is how the sides line-up tonight…

Fulham XI: Schwarzer, Kelly, Senderos, Hangeland, JA Riise, Murphy, Etuhu, Dempsey, Ruiz, Zamora, Dembele.

Liverpool XI: Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Skrtel, Agger, Henderson, Adam, Spearing, Bellamy, Carroll, Suarez.

The hosts make one change to the side that drew at the Emirates, as Steven Kelly comes in for Chris Baird at right-back.

As for the visitors, the devastating injury to their star defensive-midfielder Lucas, means that Jay Spearing comes in as his replacement. Elsewhere, Andy Carroll partners Luis Suarez up-front, and surprisingly there’s no reward in the form of a starting berth for Maxi Rodriguez, who’s enjoying somewhat of a purple patch at the moment.

        People keep saying stuff like this but look at his score already. Discounting the big strikers he's the 3rd or 4th highest scoring player. And he hasn't even hit anywhere near top form!

      I have Drenthe and VDV. Both of which I don't know what to do with. Already used my free transfer getting Hernandez out. I'd wait a bit to see if any info comes out about where Nani might play. If he plays as a striker it could be great. But earlier in the year I remember Sir Alex saying that Valencia can play that role also.

        And Welbeck back means that he will most likely play the "Pea" role and Rooney will be behind him, I highly doubt Rooney will become the striker up top again with the recent results, while boring, did the job.

        I am considering Nani myself, maybe for a hit this week, don't know who to get for Hernandez with Adebayor and RVP in my team too, leaning towards Ba and Sturridge, I don't trust Blackbuen, the Yak, or the Yak's fitness enough to consider him.

              I'd do S Taylor to Ekotto / Walker. I've got Walker because I think he's slightly more of a goal threat but it's a close call.

              I'm holding on to VDV but it's really starting to cost me ....

              Very limited goal threat from Hibbert in my opinion. If you're going Everton it's got to be Jagielka or Baines I think. Not convinced there's any better options out there than a top 4 team, with defenders who always play 90 mins.

              They aren't as consistent defensively as Man Utd but will pick up clean sheets along the way.

          I take it you dont watch the matches then? Nani *has been* invisible for the past few matches, and certainly has been in FPL terms, maybe he is set to hit stride now but you cant be sure. Bale and Tottenham are rampant and there's no sign of his or their form letting up. I think, as Pardew said on Goals on Sunday, that Bale is one of if not the most dangerous player in the league. He wont stop getting points.

            Thing is i'm a Spurs fan, and a Welsh Spurs fan at that. I know what Bales capable of but i also know he can do nothing all game, i even captained him against Blackburn for 34 points last season. I'm just not a fan of catching bandwagons late tbh.
