A hugely significant fixture in the capital tonight, sees Chelsea host league-leaders Manchester City in the final outing of Gameweek 15. The Dugout Discussion has swung it’s doors wide open, so come and and digest the emerging team news…

Chelsea XI: Cech, Bosingwa, Terry, Ivanovic, Cole, Romeu, Ramires, Meireles, Mata, Drogba, Sturridge.

Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Clichy, Kompany, Lescott, Barry, Yaya Toure, Milner, Silva, Balotelli, Aguero.

The visitors line-up exactly as expected, with Mario Balotelli partnering Sergio Aguero upfront, and Pablo Zabaleta replaces the injured Micah Richards. It’s the home side who make a couple of changes from the game at Newcastle, with the free-roaming David Luiz banned and the once guaranteed-starter Frank Lampard dropped. Jose Bosingwa comes in, pushing Branislav Ivanovic infield, as does Raul Meireles, slotting into the midfield.

You can access the Dugout Discussion chatroom right here.

Wooft, initially you would think Ade, but how could you bet against RVP? Goal at OT (should have been 2 if he hadnt scuffed the pen), a hat trick at Stamford Bridge. sunderland will toughen up now but i will prob still go for Ade.

Sturridge could be a shout away to Wigan

RVP always scores at least once
City always concede at least one

Ade has more shots but most off target

I think I am with RVP ( got really smashed when I went the other way 2weeks ago and dropped 13 points and 50k places)

i actually think spurs will struggle a bit against sunderland. Sunderland drawed against pool and lost only 1-0 against united and held upp against arsenal for a good while. Think spurs win a tight game 1-0 or 2-1

Ok any Utd fans here, or other that want to join the discussion. Lets please talk Jevans.

4.4 its a bargain right. Vidic is lost for the season, so he has a lot of chances to start right. Even if rotated now and then I am willing to make the risk, for that price for a Utd defender right? How many games do we think he is gonna get in the next 5 GW's? He should start against QPR right?

    Cheers,

            Explain?

If Jones gets shifted to the back line as in right back, and Ferdinand starts as one of the centre backs. Is there not a chance Smalling would go as the other CB, in Evans place?

There is, but it's not definite like you implied, and there's no reason whatsoever to suggest Evans would be dropped, considering when one of Vidic and ferdinand have been injured, it's buy and large been Evans who has filled in. If Fergie was willing to stick with him after City, he'll stick with Evans now.

I do Daniel, but it's always a damn lottery these days. Man U are stretched in defence and Evans is the natural choice for Vidic as long as Jones plays in mid. No-one can really answer this, it's down to personal choice.

Very reasonable answer 4vets, thanks. I will look are the central mids injured. With Clev and Anderson out, I fancy Jones in the middle and giving more chance to Jevans to start. Before those 2 become fit, Jones will/ should be preferred before Carrick and Fletcher IMO, so we have a case. It is logical, but I feel so bad bringing in Jevans. Oh my,

Basically I have this syndrome where, as soon as I transfer a player out, he scores. On the flipside, if there is a player I get in because of his good form, he stops scoring!

Well he said in the post match interview that that was a false alarm. He said asked the source who gave you that info to bring you back the money 🙂 He said that his words were that when they score and celebrate on the field, the whole bench celebrate with them too, meaning that they are with them and fully supporting as a team. AVB words.

This journalist will do anything this days.

      Cheers,

depends on how much he now sells at for you. For me he will see at 9.8 still .1 profit, Mata is 9.7 so I can afford another price drop before I look at him I'm giving him 1 more week, but I guess it's preference.

Ok lads knee jerk time. Thinking of doing Kompany and Brunt out, Jevans and Nani in. For a hit. I know Nani has 2 away games but in 2 GW time when I want him, he could be out of the reach, And he could do something in the QPR game, maybe not that much in the Ful game. Against Wig and Bla he could do certain damage. That will make my ultimate midfield:

    Bale, DVD, Nani, Silva

I won't bring Mata cause I have Sturridge and I will be in a trouble next week when Che play Tot. 3 mids in the same game. And we are gonna play against Ful and Villa at home. Good games but I will have Daniel upfront and Utd fixtures seems like scream for more goals.

    Should I do it?

Well I am doing Brunt to Nani for same reason and have same mid, and am not getting Mata as I will get Studge in Gw18 or 19 for Ba, so for me yes, but is it for a hit, cos getting JEvans in for a hit could be a risk if he's rested (and Jones plays CB)

Yeah JKISTHE1 its for a hit. I am looking more on a midterm. I think it will pay of. Kompany won't bring that much points in the next 5, Jevans will start some of the games and Nani could go in double figures. His confidence is real. Welbeck could be even dropped and he could play support striker. Its dangerous to go without Utd attacking cover having in mind the fixtures. I don't feel like playing Brung anymore. I've done something similar for Ramsey to Bale and that worked out well.

I'm not saying don't do it, just offering a cautionary note, you may be right on JEvans vs Kompany. JEvans is a risk (but aside from Evra and Rooney most United players are) but a 4.4 it may be a risk worth taking.

That is the midfield I have with ba Sturridge and RVP up front. Go for it.

The only proviso is lack of Liverpool which worries me. They haven't been scoring freely but have decent fixtures. Contemplating a punt on Adam, but he seems a bit dear.

Liv defense is good bet, but they don't score that much so I don't rate Adam for that kind of money. Well Doosra my attack is Ba, Sturridge and RVP I am happy with it. The defense will be ok, 2 UTd and Vermy all the time, Naylor and probably Gabbidon there as a back up,

We must have as much big hitters as possible in GW 18 - 19, there are gonna be some monster scores there. With the pricey defense we could get some points here and there but I am chasing a century and CS is a CS this days. Beside Jones and Vermy only Terry is the one that I see that could explode with points, so will go for it,

Michael did you change your mind?

To change the subject are there any clean sheets coming this week?

I have Vorm/Given and have used my free transfer. If I play Vorm against Ba I will probably get 0 or 1 points (unless he saves a pen!!!). The keepers who rotate with Vorm till the next wc are listed below.

The question is which is the best choice over the next 6-9 gameweeks and is it worth shipping in one for this week. In other words will any of them get a cs and get me more points than playing Vorm? Actually I think I may have answered my own question. However any advice guys?

Vorm Cerny/Kenny 4m perfect rotation all season, MANU at home next but good home fixtures to follow SUN-NOR-WIG - WOL
Vorm Hennesy .........4.5m .........STO –NOR- CHE- LIV
Vorm Howard........... 5.5m ........ NOR- SWA -BOL/tot dgw -BLA
Vorm Friedel............ 5.5m .........SUN- CHE- WBA/BOL dgw -WOL WIG
Vorm Krull ...............4.7m .........SWA- WBA- MUN- QPR- WIG good rotation till gw 22, reasonable fixture but with injuries in defence may have fewer cs
Vorm Al Habsi ........4.5m .........CHE- LIV- SUN- MANC- EVE
Vorm Guzan ...........4.4m .........LIV- ARS- SWA- EVE to gw 22
Vorm Schwarzer...... 4.9m ..........BOL- MUN- ARS -NEW - not bad 23 onwards for rest of season
Home matches only are shown apart from Tot dgw.
Prices are from last week and may have changed slightly however I can afford any of these
Rumours earlier today that Kenny was back this weekend not out for several months as thought
