After last night’s double dose of Premier League action, Wednesday brings us no fewer than seven games to enjoy. The Dugout Discussion is open for business and is the perfect place to follow all the action as it unfolds…

The race for Christmas number one will be decided tonight, with league leaders Manchester City just needing a point at home to Stoke City to maintain their position at the top over the festive period. Any slip-up and city rivals Manchester United will be looking to pounce, as they visit the capital to face Fulham.

Setting their sights slightly lower are Champions League spot contenders Arsenal and Liverpool, who are both on the road tonight. The Gunners visit Villa Park and The Reds travel to the DW Stadium.

Elsewhere, the other team in Merseyside host Swansea at Goodison Park, Newcastle United welcome the visit of Roy Hodgson’s West Brom, and Sunderland make the long trip down to Loftus Road to play QPR.

    So manhy tempting transfers. Caulker, shotton, nani and jones injury is a concern. I think i may just do nothing. And sort it next week when i have two ft. Fixtures are nice next week anyway 🙂

      stick, can't lose a player that good if he;s only out for 1 game. if he's out long term I will sell, then buy him back cheaper than I bought him for the first time.

      If you gotta do it for Rooney, do it. Stoke away were unusually easy, got their defensive tactics completely wrong and looked incompetent. Aguero is a not entirely efficient finisher and did miss a sitter today, you won't regret Rooney..

      Mata has some great fixtures though. Fulham were awful defensively today, Villa are Villa and Wolves are still pretty fragile.

        Rooney is now on 87% with 2209 transfers in today, mostly before he scored. 3000 are needed and he has four hours to get there - I'd say this is peak transfer time and he'll make it.

    I have 47 with Stuge, BAE & VDV to play with McAuley on the bench. I'd like Studge to miss the match so my ML differentials from Spurs can run riot in a 10 - nil rout with McAuley coming off the bench just the rub salt in the wounds of my foes...

    i shouldn't be cheering at a injury of a player from my own squad, but i finally got my 3 super-mids (nani, silva, bale).
    Weird transferring in a doubtful player (bale) with such confidence.
    Also weird committing to a knee jerk when i did pretty well this week (72 + ade).
