After last night’s double dose of Premier League action, Wednesday brings us no fewer than seven games to enjoy. The Dugout Discussion is open for business and is the perfect place to follow all the action as it unfolds…

The race for Christmas number one will be decided tonight, with league leaders Manchester City just needing a point at home to Stoke City to maintain their position at the top over the festive period. Any slip-up and city rivals Manchester United will be looking to pounce, as they visit the capital to face Fulham.

Setting their sights slightly lower are Champions League spot contenders Arsenal and Liverpool, who are both on the road tonight. The Gunners visit Villa Park and The Reds travel to the DW Stadium.

Elsewhere, the other team in Merseyside host Swansea at Goodison Park, Newcastle United welcome the visit of Roy Hodgson’s West Brom, and Sunderland make the long trip down to Loftus Road to play QPR.

        Already have Evans, not sure if i want to double up on Man Utd defenders without Vidic and Jones in the side. Surely they will leak the odd goal even with the easy fixtures over the next few weeks

    I currently have a front 7 of Silva, Mata, VDV, Walters, RVP, BA, ADE which has served me well.

    I just cant ignore Nani any longer, but I cant see a way of getting him in without selling Mata or VDV, but both of those are capable of similar returns to Nani.

    Are those who still dont have Nani thinking he's a must have at the moment?

    Wow totally burnt by defence this week. Simpson getting 1pt. Jones injured 1 pt - never mind the point I am worried as a Utd fan if it is long term.

    Brown first on my bench too. I there are some people who had McAuley too. Also casual rivals getting jammy as usual, this game can f*** right off

        Sturridge for Ba when ACoN comes around was indeed my thinking, but I really do curse Chelsea players, few Chelsea players have ever got me decent points. Except Alex. It's so bad that I'm considering Yakubu or Helguson over him, but I've decided to go for A. Cole so I suppose Sturridge should get the nod, when the ACoN start of course. 😀 Alex got me some good and tasty points I have to say.
